The heel height is not too high and I don't feel like I am about to tip over! They fit true to size for me and I have not had a "breaking in" stage, they just fit right off the bat. Perfect almond toe and they cork and fiber are a pleasant natural color. The one time I did wear these I really liked them, in heels I am between an 8 and 8.5, I ordered the 8.5 which I think is okay, I think the 8 would have been just a little to small. There is some nice padding inside which make it very comfortable and the cork is suppose to be very comfortable as well. They did slip off my feet a little when I walked (which may mean they are too big...) but I think the toe box would have been too snug in the 8.They are nice because they keep an outfit casual but put together becasue you are in heels (which is the look I was going for), I would not attempt to dress these up because of the cork.The heel is not too high and I was looking for a wedge that was not a platform, these fit the bill. The color and appearance is like the picture. After I wear these and decide I really do like them I will probably purchase other colors. Those three things are what I look for in buying shoes and not very often can I find all three. My feet are on the wide side so it is really hard for me to wear a heel all day well I wore these all day while I went shopping and took my lil one out to the park and these were great. They are comfortable and can be casual and dressy. I might buy some more colors.
