This is equivalent to a costume and will work perfectly for a figure skate show. The jacket is lined. The zipper is a bit finicky to use but works as expected. The sizing I would say runs small and is more geared to a man’s size in terms of the length the sleeves are. I purchased for my son. He’s 5’ 11” and 140lbs. His sleeve length is 23”. I purchased the size medium. My son usually wears a men’s small but after reading the reviews and comments about ordering a size up, I decided to order a medium. The medium does fit him. I think a large might have been better to order to allow more room to move freely while skating. This is a slim fit type of jacket. The jacket is sewing well and will hold up for what we need it for. If you are tall and broad in the shoulders definitely move up a size or two. Another thing to consider is this is a slim fit cut and you may need a larger size if you don’t want this to be tight. The colour is vibrant as I expected.

My daughter was a royal guard in a play and this was perfect. It was a little big, but we made it work!
