In case you didn’t know, very recently it was revealed that nearly all the retail places that we Americans shop for dishes (Target, Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, dept stores, etc) sell plates that appear to be boxed in their own brand name/s. Unfortunately, when the dishes and glasses were actually tested, MOST CONTAINED LEAD. Your most trusty brands are made in China, and most likely (as it has been proven) contain lead. (If certain retail stores have fixed the problem, in the last year or so, I don’t know. It seems the retailers thought it best to keep it all hush hush, which is why many consumers don’t know. They sure haven’t done any “rebranding” to prove they are lead-free. I don’t know if they even changed anything to make their wares healthier to eat off of. So, heads up! **Q: Is the glass lead free?** A: Yes our weights are lead and cadmium free.
