blinc Amplified Tubing Mascara, Volumizing, Soft-Glam, Dark Brown

I've used tubing mascara for many years. I hate raccoon eyes, and removing waterproof mascara is a true pain; I can never get it all off and no matter which remover I used, I ended up with irritated eyelids. Tubing mascara has a tendency to dry out faster than regular mascaras, at least in those I've used. I've used the iconic Loreal Double Extend Tubing mascara, No. 7, NYX, and Elf. All will dry out quickly. All clumped to a certain extent, and all flaked a bit. I want a tubing mascara that flows on, doesn't start to dry out after the third use, and doesn't flake. It may be the native formulation of tubing mascara that it starts to dry out quickly; I'll accept it. But, I really dislike flaking. I've just received the Blinc, who BTW, pioneered tubing technology. This is day 5 of use. By day 5, the other tubing mascaras started drying out slightly. So far, Blinc has not. That's a huge plus since the little clumps are caused by drying out. So far, so good. I'm 62 1/2 years old. My eyelashes are blond to begin with, but they aren't replaced as quickly as they fall out as you age. My lashes used to touch my eyelids (a pain in the arse, because they always left mascara on my eyelids). They're sparse compared to my youth. Without mascara, they're invisible. I need a mascara that will add volume as well as length. So, I chose this formulation of Blinc. What you see in the photo, is 1 coat of Blinc on my upper lashes, and a very light, quick, swipe, of the tip of the applicator, on my bottom lashes. I have a very minimal underlining of shadow under my lower lashes, and no eyelining or shadow lining on my upper lashes. This is my daily makeup routine. It's a minimal look with just enough makeup to make my eyes show up. The Blinc goes on smoother than any tubing mascara I've tried. It certainly lasts, although like other tubing mascaras, if I get wet and it's warm, the tube will come off. Expect this with all tubing mascaras; they're formulated to be removed with warm water. The tubes started coming off when I wash and sealed the clear coat on my brand new car, in 82° heat. I was sweating, and it started sprinkling. So, warm + water = removal! I'm not docking stars for this. It's what we all want, albeit preferably in the shower. I've not noticed any increase in clumps since opening the tube. So far, it's not starting to dry out. By this time, even though I'm always careful about replacing the wand and closing the tube very quickly, I've noticed the beginning of drying out in the other brands I've tried. The only thing I've noticed is a small amount of flaking. While I really dislike flaking, especially while I wear contact lenses, so far Blinc has the least amount. It's probably in direct proportion to the dryness of the formula. I'll update if this changes. Compared with the other tubing mascaras I've tried, Blinc is far superior. It earns a 4 1/2 star rating (docking 1/2 for minimal flaking). I'll round up to 5 stars. UPDATE: Well, I've just written the initial review and I'm updating to a full 5 stars. I've been dragging 20, 40 lb bags of soil in and out of the cat, then blocking out the place for my eventual garage. I'm hot, tired, and sweating a ton. It's good and warm outside. Note that the Blinc, which I applied 5 hours ago, hasn't budged. There are no tunes laying on my face, nor is it flaking. I honestly didn't expect this. I would have tubes all round my eyes from the other mascaras. This is a definite keeper.

As a former professional makeup artist , esthetician and spa owner for 17 yrs , I choose my retailing products and carefully I was selecting what to retail , or apply on my clients! This brand always been reliable cover 10yrs plus and after I closed the business, I remained still myself as a user! I still could not find anything yet would compete with this mascara, because it’s smudge free, water resistant, healthy , protect the eyelashes and will tube them ! Will long-last, I could even wear them in a swimming pool, and only water with pressure needs to wash them off ! Besides , will give you long full lashes ! It’s perfect for gifts too ! I never had anyone return this product or ever had any reaction to it ! I still use the mascara , with base the eyeliner! All 3 you should have ! It’s time and headache saver!

Worst mascara I’ve ever used - it goes on clumpy and flakes off immediately. Do not waste your money!

Oh my gosh, get it NOW!!! It's stunning, flawless. It stays on throughout the day, even if it gets wet. In order for it to come off after getting wet, you have to manually pull it off with a cloth or your clean fingers. AND when you DO pull it off, it comes off in these tube, string looking things. This mascara does NOT smudge at ALL, EVER. I reccommend the amplified over the original if you want your lashes to look thicker, but not clumpy. The original is I think a bit lighter and maybe runnier so it covers eye individual lash lightly, but you can still layer it. The amplified is not too much and not too little. I'm dirty blonde and I prefer the black, but if my hair was lighter (honey blonde, strawberry blonde, light blonde, or red headed) I would go for the brown if I wanted to look very natural. but like I said, this isn't too thick and it paints each individual eyelash without clumping, so even the black would probably look natural on you unless you have light blonde hair. The best part is it tubes around to the top, so those of us with light colored lashes no longer have to worry about that ugly two shaded lash look where its dark on the bottom and light on the top. Its just AMAZING stuff and I can't reccomend it enough. It lasts me a year, though I left one bottle in my hot car for too long and it dried. So definitely keep it out of the heat for long periods of time.

I have been using BLINC mascara for years. I don’t wear a lot of makeup, and BLINC had such a smooth and natural look that suited me perfectly. Now I believe the product has changed, because my last 2 purchases arrived clumpy and dry, so much that I threw one away within a couple of weeks of arrival (September of 2025). I hoped the clumpy product was a fluke, so I purchased a replacement in October and it also arrived clumpy and dry. I noticed that other users are experiencing the same issue, so I decided to leave a review. I hope they fix their product because it WAS outstanding!

I love this! It's 100000% smudge proof, volumizes, and elongates. I wanted something that wouldn't budge through workouts, rain, tears, or sleep, and this is the only mascara I've found that actually does without transferring or smudging on my lower lash line AT ALL. I swear this mascara knows when you're trying to remove it and will only come off when you want it to--and removal is a breeze! I feel like I lose a lot fewer lashes removing this tubing mascara than I did having to rub my eyes to remove regular mascara. There is a bit of a learning curve when first applying this--the first time I used it, my lashes clumped together, and I didn't think I was gonna like it. But after I got the hang of applying it, this mascara separates and volumizes beautifully and can even be layered! The price is high, but it's so worth it!

Miglior mascara cha abbia mai provato per effetto e tenuta. Comodissima la possibilità di toglierlo semplicemente tirandolo via con acqua calda. Ormai uso solo questo indipendentemente da avere necessità dell'effetto waterproof.

This is the only mascara on the market that doesn't give me raccoon eyes after a few hours of wear. I have tried them all, from drug store brands, to premium brands at Sephora to MAC, and they all left me with black smudges under the outer corner of my eye. I discovered this brand at Sephora, but I bought it on sale on Amazon for a few dollars less. I do find it adequately lengthening and volumizing for my tastes, but some might feel that it's not enough. It comes off easily, I either use a water-based makeup remover, rub it off with my hands in the shower, or remove it with warm water using a makeup remover cloth. You just need to be careful not to rub too hard, as then you end up pulling out your actual lashes. My only complaint is that when I start a new tube, a lot of product comes off on the wand for the first few times that I use it, and it can get messy. I usually have to wipe the excess mascara on a tissue before I put the wand back in the bottle. If not, it all ends up accumulating at the lip of the tube, and then when I replace the cap, the excess oozes out all over my hands. It's a waste of very pricy mascara... But other than that, it's the best mascara out there. The only one that I'll buy!

I really didn't like this product at first as you will see by my original review below, however it has really won me over. It has helped me to gain a more natural look which i really like and i think it's the perfect day time mascara. I have also used it over my other mascara to tube it when i want a heavier look in the evening. It is so nice to remove and i don't miss the panda eyes at all. I would recommend you give this product a good try, you never know you might grow to love it! "Really disappointed with this product! There is vertually no product on the brush. I would have to apply at least 5 applications to get anywhere near what my Urban Decay mascara does. It doesn't smudge which if one of the reasons I brought it but that doesn't out weigh the negatives. I will not buy again and will probably not use the one I have either. If you only like a very very light application then this may work for you but my lashes need a little more help!"

Tubing mascara is the ONLY solution I have found to avoid racoon eyes. It never runs, so it also never gets in your eyes which is great for sensitive eyes. It is waterproof without requiring make-up remover to remove (also great for sensitive eyes). A little warm water and a light rub with fingertips is all it takes to remove. And yet it it can stand up to a little cry, or rain/snow (as long as you don't rub at it). Highly recommend.
