New 3DS XL Protective Shell, Ultra Clear Crystal Transparent Hard Case for Nintendo New 3DS XL

I thought a 3ds case was gonna look bulky and ugly, but it actually looks pretty sleek! Also my 3ds has always felt "slippery" and the plastic case feels more grippy and easier to game with, which I hadn't considered. Also for the people leaving bad reviews about the fit, the majority of you bought it for the wrong make and model 😅 The word "new" is part of the series name and you HAVE to make sure you aren't buying a case for the *New* 3ds XL. It says NEW with accentuated letters. If you have a regular 3DS or 3DS XL, you have to get a different case. The model should be listed on the back :) Also 9 dollars to protect your $200+ dollar console is very worth it. The case IS thin, but it should do a perfectly fine job absorbing impacts, and crack or break far before the console is damaged. It's more of a consumable than a 1-time buy, so you should still be mindful and careful if you dont wanna be buying a new case every month.

overall good case, the corners can pop off when i try to put my DS into its holding case but it’s an easy fix and not the shell’s fault since it’s a tight fit. no scratches for my DS i’ll tell you that much, oh also i put my favorite pokemon card in it :)

My house is where electronics go to get thrown and dropped. This case has saved my 3DS from an uncountable number of falls, and for an incredibly low price! I have had this on for probably three years now! It is exactly what you need to keep your system in good shape. I tried to take the photo at an angle where you could see the scratches the case has sustained to make my case. It fits perfectly on the 3DS, and I didn't worry about it scratching the system going on like other cases of this material. The system is still comfortable to hold too. My only complaint is that the little "feet" on the underside of the case make it sit slightly uneven, but most of the time I'm holding it in my hands to play anyway so it's not a problem.

I ordered another brand and it did not fit the DS XL. This brand snapped on perfectly. Two separate pieces - 1 for the top and 1 for the bottom. I am pleased with the purchase. Exactly as described. Clear cover to view the metallic color of the 3DS XL. I ordered it one day, it was delivered the next!

i unfortunately did not read that it is for the NEW 3ds xl , therefore it does not fit mine , however i will give the case to my nephew - it is not falsely advertised , the quality is fantastic , and i see no reason to dock off a star for my lack of reading comprehension haha . i recommend this if you have the new xl . be mindful that it will not fit the classic 3ds xl .

Works fairly well at protecting my already well worn New 3dsxl. I bought this because the color was flaking off of my Zelda edition New 3dsxl. It is doing its job well while still letting me enjoy the design. I have had it on for 3 weeks, and use my 3ds a fair amount. Some dirt gets in around the edges of the case which is mildly annoying but happens as much with any other case. The only difference is that you can actually see it because of the clear case. It is easy enough to remove and clean out if it bothers you too much. The case itself snaps on very securely. I have no worries at all about it coming loose. I would absolutely recommend this case if you have a special edition as you want to protect the design on while still enjoying the system.
