Is anyone else using this sitz bath soak for postpartum care recovery? Do you thnik the results would be just as good using it in a peri bottle?

The most common way to perform a sitz bath is to use your bathtub or a kit designed for a toilet because you need to sit in the formula for several minutes. Peri bottles, also known as perineal irrigation bottles are used to clean the perineal area, as such are good for a quick wash. This formula can be used for both hemorrhoids and postpartum care.

directions say to clean the area of essential oils after use with vinegar. What kind of vinegar? And you wipe with it?

Please follow these steps for cleaning your basin/tub after using sitz salts with concentrated essential oils. Step 1: Sprinkle a light coating of baking soda over the entire surface of your tub. Baking soda will help absorb essential oils and provide a texture for cleaning. Step 2: Combine 3 cups of water, 1 cup of white vinegar, and 1 tablespoon of dish soap in a spray bottle to make a cleaning solution. Both vinegar and dish soap will help cut through the residue. Step 3: Spray where needed then use a wet scouring pad to scrub the baking soda and cleaning solution into the tub's surface. Continue scrubbing until you have removed all the residue. Step 4: Rinse your tub thoroughly with water and dry it using a clean rag. If you still feel any oily residue on the tub surface, repeat the cleaning process as needed. These cleaning tips should effectively remove the residue and is a good cleaning solution method to apply to other items too.

Anyone use this as a hemorrhoid treatment and what to expect?

I’ve used this product twice in the last 4 months and it works great with hemorrhoid issues and helps shrink the hemorrhoid. I also use the Doctor Butlers Advanced hemorrhoid and fissure ointment and with these two combinations it has completely caused the hemorrhoid to shrink completely..

Where do you empty the dirty water? In the toliet or down the bathtub drain?

Either way. Once the salts are dissolved you can flush the water down the toilet or the shower drain with no issue

Just received the product and try using it. Smell really good when u open the bag but i have problem using the resealable strip on the bag, cos the salt etc get stuck in between the strip and i have to put it into another ziploc bag. If i have a flared up piles(currently i do not have) i can't imagine cleaning up the oily stubborn residue after soaking even tho i may get some relieved. No doubt seller did teach how to clean the tub after use, its going to be a chore if you do have a flared up butt. Is it worth the relieve? I m not sure. Maybe those who did have a terrible flare up piles can comment on the cleaning up after use vs the degree of relieves?

Amazing Quality

Excellent product for soothing. Compared to some products this one contains a fair amount of oils. Very evident when opening the bag as the salt seems damp and a bit clumpy. However, it is highly concentrated so it doesn't take much to get a decent soaking ....Highly recommend and will repurchase when needed....
