As a parent concerned about my daughter's safety during sports, I was initially hesitant about purchasing the Unequal Halo 3 Lightweight Protective Headgear. However, after it was recommended to reduce the risk of head concussions, I decided to give it a try. I'm pleased to say that not only does it provide excellent protection with its military-grade patented composite and coated aramid fabric, but it also exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort and style. When my daughter put it on, it looked just like a regular headband, alleviating her worries about looking uncool. Most importantly, it gave her the confidence to engage fully in her sport, particularly when heading the ball. Knowing that she's protected allows her to focus on her game without fear of injury. Overall, I highly recommend the Unequal Halo 3 for any parent looking to prioritize their child's safety without sacrificing comfort or style.

Sleek, comfortable, and padded. It looks like a headband so it didn’t look out of place. Works great for flag football. I’ve washed it once and let it air dry and it went right back to its shape.

My son (16yrs) received a concussion playing in a soccer tournament in the summer of 2021. We bought the Halo 3 immediately. Since his recovery, he's worn the Halo 3 at every training and game. It took about 3 times wearing it to fit his head, now it's molded to the shape of his head and he says he doesn't notice it at all. It's so lightweight and slim. No issues heading the ball either. As a parent, it gives me some peace of mind knowing he's wearing a high-quality piece of protection. As a soccer club coach, it's something I've recommended to my team and our club. We had an issue with the headband recently, I called and the Halo 3 was replaced after providing proof of purchase. That's it, no haggling! It's was so easy and it's so refreshing for a company to stand behind their product. 10 out of 5 stars from me. If you have an athlete playing a physical sport, get this! Your player may complain about wearing it, but the peace of mind this gives me as a parent far outweighs any complaining.

I play ultimate frisbee. This headband is a bit firm when you first put it on (can be stretch, but softens as it warms up/as you sweat. I never had an issue with it falling off. Notably, I got blindsided and had my legs taken out from beneath me while in the air. It is safe to say my head made contact first from falling >6 feet. Everyone thought I would be knocked cold, play stopped, my head audibly bounced off the ground, I was surprisingly fine as I landed directly on the headband. No notable concussion symptoms (I have had multiple, hence he headband). Worth every penny, offered to buy any of my teammates one for themselves.

I have worn headgear for 15 years as I have had multiple concussions from playing rugby. I now play soccer and without some type of protection see stars with heading the ball. I also run a concussion management program at my healthcare facility. I have work the unequal for 4 games without any issues. It is a little snug but loses up with stretching prior to donning. It’s lighter than the Storelli but seems as protective. I find the Full90 the most adjustable and comfortable fit but less durable. Without a significant head collision I can’t really compare their effectiveness. The only one that was not effective was the forcefield. I am happy with the unequal comfort and ease of donning so plan to use it for the rest of my outdoor and into indoor season. I was impressed with their literature as well as their willingness to place some form of guarantee behind their product
