Pleasantly Suprised!!! Movie Night Is A Go!!!
Just received today! For the price, you really can’t pick it apart. If you do, then you are just one of those people that expect everything to be on a silver platter. Even if this was a couple hundred bucks more, I would still be stasified. I liked this one because it had the right hook ups for my Bose Cinamate and my firestick. The HDMI ports are very close to each other but I haven’t tried to plug two things in at the same time yet.I read so many reviews and looked at so many models, I really was lost in what to pick. I finally went with this one and so far so good. I seen where some had issues with it after 100 hours or so, so I guess time will tell. The screen is on my wall in my media room and it’s set at 140” or to better understand the size of it 5 1/2 feet tall by 10 1/2 feet wide. You can change the zoom on it and adjust how far you want the projector to whatever you are putting it on. My walls are dark brown and even on it, the picture wasn’t bad. Obviously better with the screen. Why a 5 Star??? Compared to models $1000 more.... no it wouldn’t be a 5 Star. For the price of this one....ABSOLUTELY!!

Do not expect mush from the onboard audio process.
I have only had the projector a short while so I cannot speak to longevity. I am giving the projector 4 stars because as a sub $200 projector it is a value buy. Set your expectations accordingly. The picture quality and brightness at night outdoors or in a darkened room is decent. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would call it a 6. It is bright and clear and gets the job done. Is it 3200 lumens ? I am not so sure but I did not measure it with a meter. It has a slight grainy look even at 1080P, but it is not horrible. I used an outdoor Gemmy inflatable screen and the projector easily produced a bright vibrant 140' picture, not bad for the price. The audio processor is lousy. The projector has built in speakers. They are useable but lets be serious, if you want sund to match a 140' screen you are not going to use the built ins. This is where problems start. If you plug your source ie. an HDMI signal with video and audio directly into the unit and use the RCA analog outputs prepare to be disappointed. The RCA analog signal quality is not good. I could barely get any volume with a Sony XB7. I tried using the RCA jacks via a Bluetooth transmitter to the Sony XB7, not good. Then I tried direct RCA from the unit directly into the input of the Sony XB7 still no go.So use the unit as a projector only. Send the unit an HDMI video signal and pipe your audio from a source like a Blu-ray player or laptop to your sound medium of choice. Do not use the projector as an audio source.Overall I am happy with the purchase. Just realize the projector has some shortcomings due to cost.

Great for outdoor movies, might need additional speaker
I am no expert in projectors. I bought this for the sole purpose of watching outdoor movies in my backyard this summer, so I was looking for something of good quality yet reasonably priced, and this is perfect! I was a little worried when I was buying this that I would need to hook up additional speakers, but the speakers in the unit are fairly loud, which is a HUGE bonus to me because I don't want to spend a lot of time hooking things up (also, I'm totally incompetent when it comes to figuring out electronics and connections and cables, etc). I will note that you must be sitting close to the projector for it to be loud enough, so if more than a couple people are watching, you'll probably need additional speakers. But for me, I just plug in the AV cables from my DVD player (the red, yellow and white cables), select "AV" from the source menu on the remote, and I'm good to go in seconds.

Worked fine at the start
Worked fine at the start, used four times. A month and a half later, with a house full of company, the machine now won’t turn on. Instruction manual is very basic and does not provide an answer for the problem I’m experiencing (blinking lights, no lamp). Audio is also pretty lousy and also never turns off, even if you’ve plugged in a second speaker source. Would not buy again—should have bought a more reliable brand.

False advertising
I've got to say, it is OK. But... this is advertised as 3200 lumens and it clearly isnt. That is just a straight up lie. That is why it gets only a 2 star. If the product description was honest I would give it a 4 star. I think 2 stars in generous for a seller that lies. Check out the video. I compare it to an old worn out cheapo projector. This one is only slightly better. I think the glitch is an issue with my hdmi switcher. It works ok. But it is maybe around the 1000 lumen mark....definitely not 3200. I might be returning this.

I named it spot!
I've been using this projector for a few months now. I've noticed a spot has appeared in the middle of the projected picture. I'm not sure when it appeared, I actually thought it was my wall at first because I was experimenting with different kinds of paint looking for the best picture so I've painted the area a few times with different colors, (my best result was just some plain old white primer.) But I couldn't get it to lighten up painting over it this time, so I moved the projector and sure enough the spot moved also. The picture is still good but the spot is a little annoying. I hope it doesn't get any worse. This is my first projector so I guess for the money I shouldn't expect perfection. But it still serves it's purpose and the spot is only real noticeable on a white screen, it appears as a yellow spot a little bigger than a basketball.
