I bought this training collar for my dog and honestly, it has been a great investment. From the first use, I noticed how easy it is to set up and operate. Got this for my Catahoula leopard dog she is very petite and I wanted something that would be low profile and not too bulky because she also has a spot on GPS fence collar that she has to wear along with this one. Overall, I’m happy with the size and it fits her and it works well and battery. Life is great. I got the light blue color which I thought was very cute but after my dog rolled around in the dirt, it was quite challenging to scrub the strap clean, so I would have considered a different color.

Overall, this is a really great product and works so well for my dog. Pros: The minute I put it on my dog, her behavior changes. The vibrate only option is great for pet owners that don’t want to use the shock option. The set up and use of the collar is very easy and can be used immediately after receiving the item. Also, the cost is so low compared to other similar products. Finally, the battery lasts for so long. For example, I charged it in the winter (summer now) and the battery is still going strong. I don’t use it daily, but that’s impressive for a device that also just sits in the cabinet too. Cons: There are no replacement parts, so if one of the prongs falls off you are left without that replacement option. Overall, a great product for the price.

I have a 6 month old beagle pup and she is so stubborn. She pulls so much choking herself, she cant be free around my older chihuahua because she’s too energetic, and she barks incessantly when in a pen. No amount of training or correction I tried seemed to be working and it was starting to become exhausting. But within minutes of using this collar she was a completely different dog. I only use the beep and vibrating options and I don’t ever think I will need the shock option. She responded immediately to the vibration. It did freak her out at first and she was a bit timid the first evening. But I am rewarding her with treats and praise as she reacts and stop the negative behavior. That seems to be working wonders and she’s not afraid of it as much. She’s able to wander freely with my other dog and whenever she becomes too playful, a simple beep usually gets her attention to stop. I love the remote, it’s simple, sleek ,and small with a nice silicone feel so it doesn’t fall out of your hand. The collar is also sleek and simple. I had a lot of extra collar strap but instead of cutting it, I was able to fold it backwards and tuck it into the buckle part so I can make it larger as she gets older Btw I tried the shock on my hand to see how it felt and I couldn’t really feel it till level 4 & 5. It wasn’t that bad just a quick tingling pulse. Not sure that she’d even notice till it was at level 7 or something if she was running around like crazy. 1 1/2 year update: collar still works well. You have to have the collar very tight for it to be effective. It was a great tool in training my dog as a pup, nice to have an immediate way of stopping bad behavior instead of yelling no and running after her to try and catch and correct her. I mostly use it now when she’s out in the yard cause she eats and digs up everything. I have gotten the zap setting maxed up to 16 though with no reactions from her (when she’s eating something, ugg beagles 🙄) but other times a 7 will get her to yelp so it seems a little inconsistent. Not sure if it’s the collar or my dog that’s the issue though 😂. For the price and for smaller dogs I’d definitely recommend. Not sure it would be effective for larger dogs though.

I personally find this collar to be highly functional and reliable. Shock is only administered if I choose to, not automatically. My dog responded very quickly to the beep. He also responds very well to the vibrate feature. The intensity of the shock itself is adjustable which I greatly appreciate. I have personally shocked myself on the highest setting and can attest it doesn’t feel good, but I feel comfortable using it. If I beep the collar my dog recalls from a distance. If I vibrate he stops whatever mischievous activity he is doing. I have shocked a few times to intervene with dangerous situations. Examples being putting a kitten in his mouth, him escaping onto a high speed rural country road, and for messing with snakes. I hike a lot with him and being able to teach him to leave harmless snakes alone increases my confidence when I have him in rattlesnake country.

It’s a decent collar for the price.(got mine on sale and coupon). But there’s a few caveats a few things that just suck. The remote has no clip or storage so you have to hold it or put in your pocket. That’s not terrible but can become annoying. Remote turns off after 30 seconds but will come back on if shock is used. If not button must be pressed. Now for the bad. My box didn’t come with a Manual but it did come with Papers in a foreign language. No user instructions. It’s pretty self explanatory but there’s a switch on the side that will change the (mode?) to 1or2. When I have the remote on 2 it does nothing. I have assumed this to have something to do with the collar itself and the button but I have yet to figure that out. I have read reviews of it shocking on its own and that has not happened to my dobie in the almost 1 year of use. Durability is not great on the collar. Some piece of plastic on the strap part broke so it kind of hangs (as seen in photo). I have also read reviews that the shock doesn’t always work or never does. I’ve not had this issue with Brutus as far as I know. Lastly the levels are pretty good I’ve tested 1-16 myself and I’ve not gone that high on my boy It zaps pretty good but also the beep is just enough that they can hear even when barking or playing. It’s got a strong vibrate but I don’t use it as it makes my dobie go nuts. It charges well and stayed charged for a while even under heavy use. I got the green to stand out from his black coat and I like it.

Our dogs used to have minds of their own. They would not come when we called them or stop barking when we told them to stop... They chased cats. They would go up to other dogs in the park we didn't know. No matter what tone of voice we used to tell them to stop or to come back, they ignored us! -- The MINUTE they had a collar on and we hit the BEEP sound, they both stopped barking or running. They put their tails down and come back to us immediately. We have NEVER put the shock devices on their collars, ever. We don't even have to hit the BEEP now! All we do is say, "Buzzer!" They STOP whatever they are doing and come immediately b/c they know that means we are about to make the collar Beep or Vibrate! -- IF, for some reason our dogs don't stop their behavior when we say 'Buzzer' or hit the BEEP button, then we hit the VIBRATE button and they definitely listen! -- There is NO pain what-so-ever! The Vibrate option just makes the device on the collar buzz, like when your cell phone is on Vibrate! For some reason, our dogs are scared of it. They know if they don't stop their behavior when they hear the BEEP then the Vibrate will follow, so we RARELY EVER have to hit vibrate! -- A couple times when someone had a dog in heat at the park or when we went to our son's and his neighbor's dogs wanted to fence fight... we had to hit the Vibrate button. And, it Works like MAGIC! -- I can't imagine ever having to shock our dogs. Our neighbor had a shock collar that he could not remove the shock screws from. He accidentally sat on his remote and didn't realize he was activating the 'shock' button. He said his little dog kept screaming out. He didn't know what was wrong. When he got up the dog stopped... he then realized he had been sitting on the remote! -- His dog has never misbehaved and ran-off or not come when called to this day! (poor baby!) Some people say the shock device might be fun for people who are into BDSM. You can set it from 1-100, so that might be up some people's allies! (...not judging!) LOL!!!

I have purebred Frenchie, they're a very stubborn breed and require lots of active training. However they have selective hearing so they often choose not to listen at all. My honest opinion on this collar is 1. This is a CORRECTIVE training collar. It is NOT meant to be automatic and is not designed to DISCIPLINE your dog. It is meant for active training, not for the dog to have it on forever. 2. If used correctly, it works very well. The idea behind a corrective collar is 2 warnings then a shock. This teaches the dog that they should follow a command before the first warning (the beep). It has been very effective within the first 24hrs as it is to be used for ALL commands (if your dog doesn't follow the command, hit the beep, repeat command and if not followed, hit the vibration button, repeat command 1 last time, if not followed hit shock. My dog has recognized if she doesn't follow the command the beep will sound and she usually immediately corrects herself and follows the command. 3. It is well built for a corrective collar, comes with the safe shock covers which are perfect, my dog listens well and it works well with free roaming and recall practice (have tested up to 800ft). It has proven to be a very effective training tool and I will continue to use this brand and recommend it. Very easy set up and works well, can easily control 2 dogs by switching channels (with extra collar). Please note that this collar is meant to fit dogs small- extra large so you may have to trim the collar down if you have a small-medium sized dog. As its nylon its easy to cut and then melt the edge so it doesn't fray and rip apart. I cut it down with about 4 inches left over as my dog is still a puppy and needs room to grow into it. So please make sure you cut it with room to spare in case of adjustments. My dog is very comfortable in it and is able to sleep just fine, i do take it off at night to charge it, however it last all day and im sure I could get more then one day out of a single charge. Taking her collar off at night is simply apart of her training to show that it won't be on permanently but she is still expected to follow command when it is off. Please remember that dogs will always push boundaries when training is involved, its your job to remind them that your in charge and to be respected but not feared. A scared dog is not a loyal one.

No intentions to use static shock as I don’t want to traumatize my pet, only using it to beep to bring his attention and the remote works from far distance

I should’ve bought this a long time ago. My families dog stopped barking with only the vibration mode. No more headaches from now on.

El collar llegó antes de lo esperado. Llegó en una caja con buena presentación, como si fuera Apple, se ve de buena calidad y bonito diseño. Lo he usado 2 dias con mi perro labrador y funciona perfectamente, hasta ahora no he usado la descarga eléctrica porque la vibración no le gusta y con eso es suficiente para que obedezca. La descarga electrica la probé en mi brazo y del nivel 1 al 3 no sentí nada, el nivel 4 y 5 es muy poco lo que se siente, el nivel 6 ya se siente y mas allá no lo probé. Estoy muy contento con la compra, puedo caminar con mi perro por la calle sin necesidad de correa. Lo recomiendo absolutamente
