I will start this by stating I am not Jewish and I bought these for other uses. These candles are smaller than I anticipated but they are nice colors, none of which has transferred to other candles (which is a problem I’ve had with other candles.) each box is about the size of a box of crayons or band-aids. To me these are more like large birthday candles. They are almost 3 3/4” by a hair more than 5/16ths of an inch. They are smaller than chime candles so I melt the bottom to adhere them in my chime candle holder. There are 5 colors: reddish orange (almost a coral color), yellow, green, blue and purple. These work very well for me as spell, prayer or meditation candles. They drip minimally (only at first) and burn cleanly, if you have the right holder all the wax will burn away. If there is a breeze they might drip more, I don’t know. I didn’t time it but it seemed like it burned for about 30 mins. I will time them next time and update my review. The price is right and if it stays the same I will keep buying these.

These are basic and quick burning candles. They drip but not excessively. Candles do not have a scent. The candles perform the most basic function. The color variety is nice for those who just want cheerful colors.

It is very hard to find Hannukah candles in my area. I had to get these last minute as my normal ones weren't available for the quick shipping time. Most of the candles fit my standard sized menorah, but some were a bit too thick at the bottom and I had to shave some of the wax off. They didn't drip too much which was nice, but many of were actually quite difficult to light and to stay lit. The burn time was acceptable so that was a plus. (i.e. they didn't burn down super quickly) The colors were just meh. Definitely not as bright as advertised in their picture. Along with that, I didn't get much of an assortment. I got mostly white and yellow with some blue and reddish pink ones. Again, nothing to write home about. Overall, I was just not impressed and a bit disappointed. I felt like the candles I got were not what was advertised. They did what they were supposed to do, but just not very well. Sorry to say, I would not repurchase these again.

Basic multicolored candles

I'm not sure what's going on with the low rating reviews that complain about these candles being birthday cake size. Nonsense! These candles are the same size as every box I've ever bought since I was a child. They look like the Israeli kind, but if they're made somewhere else, oh well. I'll find out if they're fast burning, as reported in some of those reviews, as above. I hope so, since I don't like worrying about my menorah when the candles burn so slowly that I have to keep an eye on them for a half hour, or more. RECOMMENDED. UPDATE: On the last night of Chanukah, a single candle did burn completely down in half the time of the others, so there may be something to the complaint, that some have made, about very fast burn time. The candle was down and out in less than ten minutes. The others took about twenty minutes. If the whole box burned in a short time, no problem. If it's some do, some don't, problem, aesthetically speaking. You've been notified. UPDATE #2: My new box, 2021, is inferior to previous years. I guess to save a few pennies per box, it's obvious that the wicks are now a very open wrap cotton string. When you light them, they go out before the wax starts to liquefy. You have to relight even the Shammash. Really terrible! This is my last box from this company!

These are not the best candles in the world. They get the job done at a decent price. Mainly I'm just happy to finally have options for Sweden as there is not many Jewish items avaible for purchase in this country at all.

The candles arrived just in time to celebrate a very Happy Hanukka, with all the candles lit, The result was a beautiful lit Hanukia to celebrate this year's Festival of light.

Good quality. They didn't fit the holders I had, however came in handy for a birthday cake.

Disliked the fact that I only received one box not the two I asked for.
