Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
What I like the Most about this translation is that the Hebrew names are restored to the Jewish authors of the Brit Hadashah or New Covenant, along with the Messiah -- while this translation also does NOT conceal the Fact that the Entire Bible is written by Jews, initially to Jews! For I am not ashamed of the Good News, since it is God's powerful means of bringing salvation to everyone who keeps on trusting, to the Jew especially, but equally to the Gentile. {Romans 1:16}But Yeshua did not say a word to her. Then his talmidim came to him and urged him, "Send her away, because she is following us and keeps pestering us with her crying." He said, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." {Mattityahu (Matthew) 15:23-24}However, I still do compare this Brit Hadashah (New Covenant) with the NKJV since it translates from the Textus Receptus. My life totally fell apart after moving away for college when one of my parents unexpectedly passed away. The funeral took place on a bright, crisp, chilly Fall day in October at a national cemetery located on the Rock Island Arsenal. Copies of Psalm 23 had been printed-out onto bookmarks and handed to everyone who attended, while a close family friend sung "Amazing Grace." For the first time ever, I started to seriously Read and Study the ENTIRE Bible starting from the Beginning in Genesis through to the End: Revelation, just how I had been taught. . .Psalm 116 per New JPS5: The LORD is gracious and beneficent;our God is compassionate.6: The LORD protects the simple;I was brought low and He saved me.7: Be at rest, once again, O my soul, for the LORD has been good to you.You people don't know what you are worshipping; we worship what we do know, because salvation comes from the Jews.{Yochanan (John) 4:22}For the Torah was given through Moshe;grace and truth came through Yeshua the Messiah. {Yochanan (John) 1:17}We have all received from his fullness, yes, grace upon grace. {Yochanan (John) 1:16}Goodness and grace will pursue me every day of my life; and I will live in the house of ADONAI for years and years to come. {Psalm 23:6}1.) So Yeshua said to them again,"Yes, indeed! I tell you that I am the gate for the sheep." {Yochanan (John) 10:7}2.) I am the gate;if someone enters through me, he will be safe and will go in and out and find pasture.{Yochanan (John) 10:9}3.) I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.{Yochanan (John) 10:11}When Yeshua had finished speaking, he said to his talmidim, "As you know, Pesach is two days away, and the Son of Man will be handed over to be nailed to the execution-stake."{Mattityahu (Matthew) 26:1-2}The God of shalom brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Yeshua, by the blood of an eternal covenant. {Hebrews 13:20}4.) Also I have other sheep which are not from this pen; I need to bring them, and they will hear my voice; and there will be one flock, one shepherd. {Yochanan (John) 10:16}"We all went astray like sheep,Each going his own way;And the LORD visited upon himThe guilt of all of us." {Isaiah 53:6} per New JPS5.) he again fixes a certain day, "Today," saying through David, so long afterwards, in the text already given, "Today, if you hear God's voice, don't harden your hearts." {Hebrews 4:7}6.) What, then, does it say?"The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart." -- that is, the word about trust which we proclaim, namely, that if you acknowledge publicly with your mouth that Yeshua is Lord and trust in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be delivered. {Romans 10:8-9}That means that there is no difference between Jew and Gentile -- ADONAI is the same for everyone, rich toward everyone who calls on him, since everyone who calls on the name of ADONAI will be delivered. {Romans 10:12-13}7.) Just as human beings have to die once, but after this comes judgment, so also the Messiah, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to deliver those who are eagerly waiting for him. {Hebrews 9:27-28}8.) And eternal life is this: to know you, the one true God, and him whom you sent, Yeshua the Messiah. {Yochanan (John) 17:3}Therefore, if anyone is united with the Messiah, he is a new creation -- the old has passed; look, what has come is fresh and new! {2 Corinthians 5:17}He renews my life;He guides me in right paths as befits His name. {Psalm 23:3} per New JPS"This Yeshua is the stone rejected by you builders which has become the cornerstone. There is salvation in no one else! For there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by whom we must be saved!" {Acts 4:11-12}I praise You, for You have answered me,and have become my deliverance. The stone that the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. {Psalm 118:21-22} per New JPSYou are my God and I will praise You;You are my God and I will extol You.Praise the LORD for He is good,His steadfast love is eternal. {Psalm 118:28-29} per New JPS"For God so loved the world that he gave his only and unique Son, so that everyone who trusts in him may have eternal life, instead of being utterly destroyed. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but rather so that through him, the world might be saved." {Yochanan (John) 3:16-17}Pilate also had a notice written and posted on the stake; it read,YESHUA FROM NATZERETTHE KING OF THE JEWS{Yochanan (John) 19:19}Savior he is for ALL from their Sins. Halleluyah!!!

Closer to a transliteration rather than a translation
Over 30 years ago I started with the Brit Hadasha. I kept giving my copies away as it was so eye opening to my Jewish friends. I've been looking for a transliteration rather than the inaccurate translations where you lose the original meaning of the Scripture. I just wish that the the names of Father and Yahshua were restored. I quit using God and Lord many years ago. I prefer to have my name used accurately, so why shouldn't Yahuah? Other than that, it's a great Bible.

Not the study Bible version
It’s partly my error but I thought that I was buying the study Bible version and had already highlighted a few things before I realized that. So I have to buy a whole new one. But it’s on sale so I’m ok with it just wish I realized it sooner. Some of the pages were stuck together at the top so it started to tear
