Received this today and was quite surprised that the sharp edge was not in protective packaging. Tool looks sturdy and is a good size.

It definitely makes a cute design, but to me, the blade isn't sharp enough to not have to exert enough pressure to cut the slices, but yet it is sharp enough because if you're not careful, you could really cut a finger. You have to be super careful with this tool. My edges were jagged, probably because, again, it's just not sharp enough.

Not very sturdy, after only a few uses the handle bent and I am not able to use it anymore

This item broke the very first time I used it. I was trying to slice a radish and the shaft of the blade bent 90 degrees where it meets the handle. It was impossible to repair. Very flimsy, do not recommend.

I exchanged first slicer because the blade was bent and the cuts were uneven. The replacement bent at the neck while I was slicing. I almost slipped and cut myself. I missed the return window by 3 days. It's going in the trash.
