Holds better than most marriages
This is by far the best tension rod I've used. I currently use this outdoors and it holds up great. We have some windy days here and no issues. The cats like to jump on the curtains and still doesn't fall. My fur ball is Garfiled and the name fits. I would highly recommend.

Very sturdy, great quality!
Very sturdy, great quality! This is my second rod. I bought the next size smaller previously for my old apartment. and it was Fantastic also. But when I moved to my new apartment, I needed about 12" wider for the area I wanted to put it so I purchased this one. It could probably support itself without the center bracket but since I open and close them everyday, I wanted it to not begin to sag in the middle. I still use the smaller one too in a different space...no center bracket needed.

Highly recommend! Stays up til you move it
So I bought this to stick up in the bedroom closetโI just needed a place to store my comforter while Mother Nature goes thru her menopause...hot, cold, fog, freezing, hot again... I wasnโt ready to fully commit to conforter-weather and I didnโt want to box it up, I figured this would be a great solution. I measured the closet with an app and this was perfectly sized. You just plop on the rubber end caps, place it where you want it, angle it up and lock the pin in place 1-click more than the space is wide(read the directions, it makes sense). Then pull down and jiggle the bar into position, fitting snuggly against the walls. Done. U can get all extra and place felt under the rubber so it doesnโt mar the wall but I havenโt seen any issues with that happening and I relocated the bar twice now. When Mother Nature decided it was in fact cold-season now, I put the comforter back on my bed, freeing up the bar. However I had placed it too low to the actual garment rod for me to use it for clothing. So I just pushed in the pin(use RoboGripsโif u donโt own them u really need to just buy one if ur a woman or have weak hands), twist the smaller rod a bit to keep the pin from popping back out, and ur free to relocate the bar. I moved it up about a foot and did the same thing to set it in place. Now I have two garment bars and can hang shorter items on this rod, like double-folded capris/leggings (so theyโre shorter on the hanger). Instantly doubled closet space and the bonus of keeping lighter summery clothes available until it goes below zero, and I have to swap them out for heavier stuff. I def recommend this bar over the usual twist-spring tension...Iโve had even shower curtains come falling down on me bc I didnโt twist hard enough...this solves that problem. This is really sturdy and great! I may look for a couple other, longer ones for various closets. Theyโre cheaper than getting actual closet-gear and theyโre movable. Frankly now I donโt see the reason to spend for a California Closet design when u can get these and all sorts of cute organizers on the cheap, and design ur own closet thatโs fully customizable to ur whims. Definitely sold on this item!

Works good. Looks good.
Kind of hard to understand instruction for tightening. Works good once figured it out.

Highly recommend...I can explain how to put them up!
Just bought these to use with weather proof curtains for my Michigan 3 season porch. Planning on using them on the inside of the window frames. Thought they were kinda expensive, and they came with no instructions...BUT once I figured it out I would have to say they are the best rods I have ever purchased. So for those of you who are wondering how to put them up.... The package includes 3 interlocking poles but you may not need to use all three of them. The main pole that needs to be used is the one with the metal peg that adjusts and has the spring tension on the end of it. The end caps come off the poles so they are interchangable once you pick out the poles needed for the width of the window. Decide if you need both extensions (hold the rod up to the window opening and you will figure it out quickly. I only needed the small one, so the other pole was just extra) Put your extention(s) together with the main pole and cap the ends (main pole should be on one of the ends). I held it up to my window opening and now made more width adjustments using the metal peg until I had the exact distance (a little longer is ok because it allows for a tighter fit) Once I figured out width I put my curtains on the rod and put the rod(s) back together. Put the rod in the window frame and pull back on the "spring end" and put the rod where you want it. It took me a couple of trys to get the tension just right for the weight of my curtains. The rod stays in place with "tension" from the spring side of the main rod. NO twisting in place...just pull back on the "spring side of the rod" and put in your window frame. You can continue to adjust the rod by moving the metal peg until you get it in the window frame with the correct tension you need. I wanted a tight fit because my curtains were going to have to withstand winter winds/snow/rain etc...and I didnt want them to constantly be falling down. Could have gone with a rod that was screwed in my porch frame but didnt want to be drilling holes into my beautiful 6x6 wood beams. I also didn't want the look of 15 curtain rods on my porch. (these are hidden within the groms of the curtain) Also, love that I can take them down in the summer without having to remove permanent rods. Hope this helps anyone who is thinking of buying these, and help with putting them together. Highly recommend the investment.

This was easy to install and is a great product! I would buy it again! I did not need the long extension.

Honestly STURDY!
Absolutely the best tension rod Iโve bought - I needed a smaller room divider curtain for my office at work (110โ) but every other rod solution either sagged or needed a vertical support pole. This one was easy to install, could have worked in a larger room, and easily holds three VERY HEAVY velvet curtain panels, 84โ tall. I could even add a fourth heavy panel if I wanted. I open and close the curtains throughout the work day, and this rod does not budge. Looks great! I always hesitate to buy from non-name brands on AMZ, but this was a risk well worth it.

BEWARE- significant wall damage and bending rod
I am extremely pissed off about the damage that this rod has done to my screened in porch. I specifically got these rods (2 shorter and one longer) because I am renting and now I have to deal with more damage rather than caulking holes if I just bought a traditional rod with screws. Due to the twisting mechanism to create tension on the shorter rods, they kept falling when placed outside. (Yes, I did create enough tension and had multiple people do the same, but even with a light breeze and the curtains slightly moving, the rods kept falling after a few days). One time it fell on my head while sitting on a couch below. I kept wanting to give them a chance because the longer one with the button/hole mechanism was not so problematic, but that was my last straw. Not only does it have poor design, itโs not safe. It consistently loses tension in a short amount of time. Now it has been about 2 months of having them up and it is bending in the middle. You can see in my photo with the red markings that the center has a greater distance to the top beam compared to the ends. Instead of connecting 5 small pieces like how the shorter ones are created, why not make all of the rods in a similar style to the longest one which has the button/holes? That one seemed to work better with far less of a headache of it constantly falling. Now I am out of the return window with two of these shorter rods and utterly hate them and the damage they have caused. I know the longer bar can actually fit the shorter walls of my screened in porch when itโs at its shortest adjustment and I wish I had gotten 3 of those instead and saved myself the headache, but now that I canโt get my money back for the short ones that I hate, Iโm not going to buy long ones from this company or recommend them at all.

Sturdy curtain rod
I've been using this for more than a month and so far it has been quite stable. Installation takes a bit force but the result is worth it.
