Can’t really say if it does what it’s supposed to, because the steps were still buoyant when trying to get the pad underneath. The size is correct for the size of steps we have, but the excess that goes beyond the steps, keeps rolling and moving underneath the steps. Maybe once the steps fill all the way and create enough pressure on top of the pad. It will stay as intended. It is tricky, fitting the pad under the steps, obviously since it keeps rolling due to the steps, not staying on top of it. Would be nice if there is a way to attach it to the bottom of steps, instead of it just being a floatable object that cannot attach to anything.

Very nice steps. We used 4 gallon jugs total to hold the steps down a bit more two on the bottom step and the other two second from the top very pleased. Also, I did drill some holes in the side of the panel to add more water to the steps.

These work under my steps and keeps my pool protected. Highly recommend.

I haven’t placed in pool under ladder yet. Ladder will be here next week. This mat is durable, yet flexible not to damage pool liner. Nice weight. I feel it will work great under ladder in pool! I ordered the powder blue. Nice color!

This should not be called the “stay-put” ladder mat. This does not stay under the ladder and every morning I go out, it’s on the other side of the pool. I’ve tried using both sides down and still no luck. The product otherwise does its job and protects the liner but only when you move it back under the ladder.

It's under my pool staircase, which is similar to the one in the photo. 1 pad was wide enough for the staircase and it definitely stays put.

This is for the mat only which I think is really expensive, I thought it was for ladder I sent it straight back as I could see the point of the mat my ladder doesn’t move so this mat is pointless

Mat was as described. Once I placed it under the stairs they have not moved at all, fixing my problem
