It just works.
A few of my neighbors bought wired Ring doorbells and they needed to replace/upgrade their doorbell transformer. This did that job perfectly. Easy to install (for surface mount applications) and it just works. I would recommend this product.

Perfect Replacement Transformer

Fully charged doorbell..
Had a problem keeping my smart doorbell charged up and decided to try this transformer. I am not an electrician, but this was very easy to install. The wire quality is strong and doesn’t let off any heat. I now get the power I needed to keep my doorbell fully charged. Worth every penny.

Simple installation
Needed to repair my doorbell after an outside electrical issue fried my transformer and a few other appliances. It replaced a transformer installed in 1980. Works perfectly.

Unhappy customer
I bought this to upgrade an existing working transformer for a new Ring wired pro 3 doorbell. The old one worked but was showing level 2 because it needed more power. I connected this one and it wouldn’t work at all. I wasn’t severely hours on a ladder because of this. I connected the old transformer and the video doorbell came right on. Looks to be defective. I’m upset because this wasn’t an easy job and now I have to do it again when the new one comes in. I wish people would test things and not waste other people’s time.

Good for other projects too!
Ok.. So.. I actually used this to fix a 50A Astron that had a blown secondary that was used for the regulator. Rather than replace a very expensive transformer, I used this to supply the voltage to the regulator. Had been working 24x7 for several months now, no issues!
