The Honest Company Hair Detangler, Citrus Vanilla Refresh, 4 fl oz

I live this hair product, it really detangles wet hair, leaving it shiny, soft and manageable. The smell is lovely also. My hair type is very fine and long.

Works great on my thick course hair. Not only detangles but makes it shiny & the slight smell of citrus & vanilla is a bonus. Spray bottle works great feels light on your hair not waxy. Will buy again.

I bought this for my 5 year olds hair. It’s the most effective hair Detangler we’ve ever used. It dries nicely and leaves the hair looking fresh and clean ( NOT at all greasy). And the smell is absolutely divine. I find myself spraying it in my hair from time to time. I also love that the scent is all natural - zero synthetic fragrance. I hope The Honest Company never stops making this product because I’ll probably never stop buying it 💛

Not greasy, and worked good. The smell was a little weird though. Not sure how to describe it other than plastic like.

Great for 5YO easily tangled hair. Perfect lightweight for swim lesson/beach bag to detangle immediately after swim before drive home so tangles don’t dry into knots. Safe & gentle for granddaughter’s very fine, wispy hair, doesn't hurt her sensitive scalp. Plus I feel comfortable spraying pleasant, non-chemical, mild fragrance near her face because she’s not inhaling toxic fumes.

This detangler works very well. It smells good too. It’s at a great price point. I’ve had thick hair my entire life & my mother used to brush out tangles & ooof! All these years later & I still have thick hair that tangles & I am glad I found this product.

Okay, this review is for my fellow chronic illness sufferers and it's kind of long. I have fibro and HSD and that leaves me with good days and bad days. Bad days = days in bed and matted hair as a result. As I've gotten older, I've noticed my hair isn't as soft and manageable as it used to be, and the days spent in bed don't help either. It got so bad that I had to ask my daughters to help me brush it out, and I even went so far as to give myself a haircut to get rid of some split ends in hopes it would help with the tangling (it didn't). I was at my wits end because it was happening so often. So, I ordered a tangle teaser, then my adult daughter ordered a different tangle type brush for me and a satin bonnet, too. I also ordered a leave in conditioner from Aussie, then I ordered this one. At the same time, I ordered my younger daughter regular old Suave apple scented detangler (the same kind I've used on their hair when they were babies and toddlers) since she's growing her hair out but struggling to manage it. LASTLY, my adult daughter was nice enough to buy me a bottle of Milkshake brand leave-in. Are you starting to get the idea of how desperate I was to find a product that helps eliminate the matted hair? Ready for the verdict??? The 2 out of the 4 I mentioned that I would actually buy again are the Suave and Milkshake. Obviously not everyone can pay over $20 for a bottle of Milkshake but it works ridiculously well to leave hair soft and manageable for DAYS and it smells amazing (just like whipped cream). As far as Suave, it left no weird feeling in the hair and leaves the hair super soft and shiny, but I wish the smell was better. My daughter's hair is about mid back length and this morning I had a hard time putting it in a regular braid because the Suave left her hair so soft that it just wanted to slip around. No complaints. Her hair looked soft, shiny, and beautiful. Both of these products left our straight and fine (but LOTS of it) hair easily brushable with the tangle type brushes we bought. This Honest detangler smells really nice (like a creamsicle) but it leaves a weird sticky feeling when you use it. Once your hair is dry that goes away, but it just makes me wonder what it is that leaves that residue type feeling. Once my hair was dry it didn't seem soft or shiny to me and still ended up tangled in the back throughout the day. The product helped with brushing through tangles, but not as much as Suave or Milkshake. I also think the size of the product is laughable. I knew it would be a small bottle but this is literally purse sized. It's nice that it sprays as a mist instead of a stream because it covers well without wasting product. But even with the awesome smell and fine mist spray, I still wouldn't buy this product again. I'll stick with the other 2 products I mentioned...the spendy stuff for me, and the Suave for my daughter. My plan is to give this tiny bottle of Honest to her to keep in her gym bag for a hair refresh at school if she needs it after gym or sports games etc. My advice to anyone with health issues like me is that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I have been using leave-in sprays (I now plan on sticking to the one I mentioned) and keep the tangle teaser brush on my nightstand (I highly recommend the Ninabella spiral-y looking brush!) and I force myself to brush it every night before bed no matter how poor I'm feeling, and I started wearing a bonnet to bed. I've had no issues since then. Hopefully this long winded review helps someone out.

I love this stuff for my toddlers hair up! It makes doing her hair in the morning so easy especially with taming the baby hairs to put her hair up. I am a huge fan of the honest company products and I really do like this detangler as it isn't super heavy on the hair and the spray mist is really effective. My daughter has a lot of hair that is fine right now and I use this on both dry hair to style in the morning before school and then also when it's wet to detangle. I have both the vanilla and the fragrance free and the vanilla one is my preferred one since it just makes the hair smell so delicious. Some of the other detanglers for kids on the market can leave the hair heavy and greasy even after washing and washing a toddler's hair everyday is a task in itself, so this not being heavy is perfect. I also think because it is so conditioning, it adds some shine and also gives a bounce to her baby curls while detangling beautifully without any meltdowns! 10/10!

It does its job and is very good for adults hair. It detangles my morning hair nest without any pain. But I have to add a hair serum to prevent frizz, this only is not enough to moisturize my normal and long hair
