I bought these to use with a tarp for camping for shelter. The previous aluminium poles had bent. These are stronger and because they can be varied in length give much more versatility about how you can set the tarp up as a shelter. The caps on the end of the poles also stop the pole ends coming out of the eyelets. I have used them once so far.

Perfect and it's black harmonised with other colour. I actually ised it not for tent but for the banner and flag for the camp. As it is 3 folds it is easy to put in the car without worry of space.

Tough and stable ☺️ liked them my favourite feature is the rubber tips which slot over the exposed points.

Have used for three weekends away. Holding up tarp on side of campervan. Stayed firm and performed well in high winds on one occasion. If it rains a lot they get water inside, when you collapse them back down the water squishes out. So, no big deal.

I like the length of these poles and the way they lock in place, however they are sold as waterproof and they are not. They filled with water when I used them.

Well made and finished, these poles are better made than I expected. With a smooth operation, easy reliable locking and sufficiently sturdy for the purpose (3m x 4m awning) they are a pleasant experience. Furthermore, the storage bag provided is well made and large enough to easily accommodate both poles. Well pleased.

Top notch, great tarp/tent poles. High quality & very versatile. I have used these over & over for several years on camping trips. They are strong (for telescoping poles). With the rubber cap, they can be used in the center of tarps without puncture. They will support a lot of weight.I see a few reviews that show poles broken in half. These are hollow, light, telescoping poles. If substantial horizontal pressure is put on them - yes, at some point they will snap - like any other thin horizontal pole. They are not solid pipes and not intended to be. They will likely withstand forces that other similar telescoping poles will not. If you intend to use them fully extended in 20+ mile an hour winds at the beach or in the desert, then you can expect them to break. Its not a flaw. Get yourself some pipe or conduit if you need that kind of support; and/or add more guy lines.For supporting tarps & tents while camping and keeping sun or rain off of you, these work great and will last. The only problem I've ever had was the telescoping function 'sticking' after the poles become muddy/dirty. This is to be expected and is easily solved by cleaning with water. I should also mention that I've never had any problem with the telescoping sections 'slipping' at all.
