Great product. Affordable. Hardly any flavor. Dissolves into produce or coffee smoothies
Great product. Affordable. Hardly any flavor, which is great. Dissolves into produce and/or coffee smoothies.Whether or not I need added protein, I chose this competitively priced protein powder (best price; has everything the higher priced competitors have). It did not clump in liquid, which is great!Clean, Concentrated Vegan Protein with Transparent IngredientsRating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐(5/5)This soy protein isolate offers a pure source of plant-based protein, free from fillers, added sugar, or synthetic additives. The ingredient list is straightforward, containing only soy protein isolate, which provides a high-quality, complete protein for supporting muscle maintenance, especially in older adults. The formulation is clearly vegan, avoiding animal byproducts or testing.Transparency is notable: the product discloses servings and protein content per portion, though third-party verification or NSF/USP certification is not indicated. The sugar-free, additive-free formulation makes it suitable for sensitive users, and long-term use appears safe, provided total daily protein aligns with dietary guidance (generally 20–25 g per meal for older adults).Compared to whole-food sources, this isolate offers a convenient, concentrated protein boost without excess calories or fat. While it does not include cofactors like vitamins or minerals, its simplicity may appeal to those who prefer control over supplementation. Packaging is resealable, supporting some degree of eco-conscious storage, though broader sustainability claims are not specified.Overall, the product is relevant for vegans seeking a high-protein supplement to complement a plant-rich diet, particularly for older adults, athletes, or anyone needing reliable protein without animal inputs.Pros: pure, vegan, sugar-free, high protein contentMinor 'Cons': lacks third-party certification (but what does? I'm OK with that)

Pure Origin Soy Protein Isolate: The best I have had
TASTE: Tastes exactly like soy protein isolate, without the lingering after-taste that other brand had. (Probably due to this being finer and more soluble.)TEXTURE: Finer and more soluble (easy and possible to dissolve without clumps!). I actually had not noticed “refined & soluble” on the bag, but, immediately knew it when I had it. Very noticeable difference from others…. at least to me.BAG: Well-desgined - Compact (nothing unnecessary), and sits well. (Many bags with powder or other shape-shifting contents in them lean, and tilt over at times, causing spills. This one sits well on my (flat) counter! I love and appreciate that! - I will let you know should that change, but great so far! And, I have not tested on a non-flat surface.I have not baked with it, so, nothing to say on that.

High-Quality Protein with Excellent Blending Power but Mediocre Flavor
The PURE ORIGINAL INGREDIENTS Soy Protein Isolate is a high-quality protein source known for its purity and excellent blending capabilities. As someone who has tested numerous protein powders, I appreciate this product’s absence of fillers and additives, which ensures you get only what you need for your nutritional goals.Flavor:While the purity of the product is commendable, the flavor leaves much to be desired. It has a somewhat bland and chalky taste, which might be off-putting for some users. However, this can be mitigated by blending it with fruits, flavored beverages, or other ingredients to enhance its palatability.Value for Money:The product provides excellent value for money, especially given its pure composition and large quantity. It’s a cost-effective option for those looking to increase their protein intake without unnecessary additives.Blending Power:One of the standout features of this soy protein isolate is its blending power. It mixes smoothly with liquids, leaving no clumps and providing a consistent texture. This makes it an ideal addition to smoothies, shakes, and baked goods.Nutritional Benefits:As a vegan protein source, it’s an excellent option for those following plant-based diets. It’s also lactose-free, making it suitable for individuals with lactose intolerance. The protein content is high, effectively supporting muscle recovery and growth. Conclusion:The PURE ORIGINAL INGREDIENTS Soy Protein Isolate is a top-tier choice for those seeking a pure, additive-free protein supplement. While the flavor could be improved, its excellent blending power and high nutritional value make it a worthwhile addition to any diet. Consider mixing it with flavorful ingredients to enhance the taste for best results.

Should be ZERO stars! This is not returnable!!! Bought as “prime”
I have been a daily soy protein isolate user for decades and this is NOT soy protein isolate! I don’t know what is going on with this company but an independent lab needs to test this product. It arrived yesterday and I used it to make my morning smoothie today and it clumped badly but worst of all it does not have the typical soy taste!! I am very concerned about the origin of this product! Buyer beware because there are no returns allowed!! The NOW brand I have purchased for many years has returns. I am now going to have to throw THIRTY DOLLARS in the garbage!!! Do not buy! Odd taste not soy!

Good Unflavored Soy Protein Isolate
Whips up like it should, with the sole exception that it ran thicker than typical - so it took a bit more liquid than I expected, maybe 10% - add a flavoring of your choice if you like, and you're golden.I'm recommending it precisely because it tastes like nothing - which is what "unflavored" means - and it handles well in the drink mixer - and that said, it's twenty-some grams of protein per scoop...... and it didn't have a scoop in the paper bag - so I used one I already had on hand, hence the "twenty some grams" - not complaining, reduces waste material to not make you buy a plastic jug and scoop every time you want some protein powder... bit since your scoop may vary, that's why "twenty-some grams" ... :)Recommended
