- SW206 80W 2.0 Active Bookshelf Speakers, Dual-Mode Creator & Music

Good sound, blends in with my desk. I should have bought this one a long time ago.

The shipping was on point, These are amazing the black grain finish matches my desk. The sound and bass quality is very good these speakers have a deep bass so it makes it perfect for listening to music, watching movies or gaming. The fact that it comes with a remote control is nice because I can skip a song if I dont like it or go back and the mode button is good for changing modes like from aux to bluetooth. The bluetooth function was very simple to set up. I would’ve liked it better if it had included the aaa batteries for the controller. BUY THESE AND STOP LOOKING AROUND YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. I will recommend these to anyone.

Great sound and easy setup, it just works, wish the audio cable that came for the aux was better grade then what it has tho.

Sanyun SW206 80W 2.0 Active Bookshelf It’s great for what it’s intended for, but had no bass, which is excellent for editing audio but not for casual listening or videos/movies at your desk. This sanyun is easy to assemble but is a more neutral less bass emphasis. I played it next to another powered speaker I purchased and the sanyun was just flat. I want to drown out my thoughts while I code at my computer desk. This powered speaker didn’t allow me to do that.

I was very impressed with the quality of the speakers. Was a good price. Night and day compared to the old PC speakers.

These speakers are stylish, adds a nice accent to your work area. Kind of reminds me of the KRK rokit's, which I own a pair but the sound is not comparable, but for some $100 speakers, they sound pretty damn good. Don't expect super loud highs or extreme low bass, but they will work fine.

Update 12/01/2024 The seller saw my review and reached out to me. They voluntarily agreed to send me a new set of speakers which arrived a week ago. These sound much much better than the original set, so I have to think the original set never worked as intended out of the box, but I didn't realize it until after the right one died completely. I've changed my review to 5 stars to reflect the assistance of the manufacturer and the overall sound of these speakers. So looks like I'm out of luck, Amazon won't take it back, and Manf won't respond.

This is my sixth set of studio monitor / computer speakers I have had in the past 5 years and these are one of my favorites, comparable to $200 plus speakers. The dual mode is nice - you can use them in monitor mode which is a fairly decent one to one sound for sound reproduction on your keyboard, musical instrument or just pure classical music. or you can put it into Hi-Fi mode for gaming and music videos and it has a good full sound. Use an equalizer with these and they sound like a $250+ set of speakers. I have used Edifier PreSonus Rockville and two other brands and the Hi-Fi mode equals the edifier 1850s and in monitor mode they are very similar to my PreSonus all in one speaker hard to ask for more at this price of course you could get clearer and louder sound but you would have to pay quite a bit more money for for that. The yellow carbon fiber cones give them a sharp look similar to more expensive brands. Two thumbs way up for the 4-inch 80 w speakers I cannot speak of the smaller ones but I can say that the 4-inch 80 watt ones are well worth the money

Previously has the Sanyun SW208, and the 206 arrived today and it’s day and night, tighter bass, quite easy to drive and setup, great imaging and separation with a really wide soundstage for the size, great value, and very reliable, the built in DAC is nice too since I can’t use my own on some devices, Hifi mode is my personal choice, but yeah for the size it packs a lot of power.
