Determined to share the Blood of Vine, Machat created a Syrah and sold the first 500 bottles to Alice Cooper & MCA Records in London, England. Next, he produced a Sangiovese and sold 672 bottles to the Anne Rice Fan Club in New Orleans. He was in business. By 1995, the blood of the vine began to stealthily trickle through New York and small pockets of America, becoming a prized possession. Sales grew to over half a million bottles per year. In 2011, Vampire Lounge & Tasting Room in Beverly Hills opened to proudly showcase Vampire wines. Vampire Vineyards wines feature hand-selected fruit sourced from distinguished estate vineyards from Paso Robles to Napa Valley. Our wines are crafted in an Old World style with top quality grapes.
