lighting & install
Ok final review, the light works really good. have it on dusk to dawn mode. Last all night, Im in Indiana, and right now its in late November and its dark at 6 pm, the light stays on till daylight, approximately 7 am. the light does good. the angel the light is in as you see it should be angled the opposite way but it does great as it is. Id recommend the light for anyone who is out in the country and dont wanna spend more on electric bills, now we will see how long it last, oh and btw it is made pretty good, quality constructed. THANK YOU A-ZONE for a great product. After a 3 days , made adjustments, after I figured out how to do for dusk to dawn , light wont stay on much after midnight, however I believe its how i have it as angled. I think i may have to set so more of the solar panel part is facing more to the south for more sun and charging. more update laterAn ole barn to begin with, have done various things to get into shape. I wanted solar so as not to raise the electric bill, light is set at 50 percent, the light is about 15 feet high near the peak of the barn. the photo is taken from about 200 feet away from barn. I was real skeptical on how much light it would actually give and the area it would light up, well I was surprised the light does a fine job, now over the course of next few days I will adjust settings up to 75 percent and then 100 percent. I cant tell how long it lasted because i didn't make it until after dawn. the barn does have power I could have installed direct power lighting but wanted to go this way. More updates later as a few days go by on how long it last on each setting. so far im surprised, pretty decent lighting and light, easy to install. ps; Im not one to give great reviews I see it as it actually is, wont hype it up, this is out in the country.

Bright!
My father purchased these motion detected lights for our barn as a replacement because our others broke from snow falling off of the roof. These are great. WAY brighter than my other ones, and seem more sturdy. They work as intended.

it works and probably just as good as more expensive one
so i had a more expensive 600watt variety and it has been working fine but in low light it is just not bright and to run it at full brightness which is pretty good in brightness, the battery just will not last the whole night. so just gotta run it at 30% and it goes to 100% when there is motion. with this in mind i figured i'll just go with a cheaper one or half the wattage and see if there is any difference. honestly the 600watt at 30% brightness is about the same as a 300watt solar light at 30% and at full brightness they both are pretty close.now onto this 300watt azone which i am actually quite surprised with honestly. it is about the same size as the 600watt variety i have but feels lighter. so i have both in a row but about 35 feet apart from each other at 30% brightness and they give enough light to see around but when they both detect motion their lights overlap the other making for a pretty bright area. in hindsight i would have gone with two 300watt variety and get the same results. lucky for me i have it on a pole that is maybe 12feet tall and during the day i have the sun charging it up and during the night i can spin the light in any direction i need to so it is quite convenient to how i want to use it.easy for me to install, do i want it brighter? yes of course. good motion detection. i read comments people complain about having to be close to the solar light to use the remote and honestly i have a guess to why they did this. if someone bought a couple of these they will know the remote is pretty much the same so if some random person had the same light/remote as you and the range on the remote was really wide then all it takes is a mischievous individual to go around and turn peoples lights off. yes i would get this model again.edit: 27 feb 2023. still working and probably the most reliable out of the ones i had. it is basically set it and forget it. never had to mess with it or it glitching out. hopefully i did not jinx it.

Very Nice Light. Lasts ALL Night.
I have had this light for about 1 month. I specifically wanted a light with a dusk-to-dawn feature. I was doubtful of the claim that it would last all night because I have had less than stellar results from other lights. I have been testing it since the day I bought it. I have set it up in a location that only gets good sun about 1/2 of the day intentionally to see how well it charges and lasts. My dog cant make it through the night without needing to poop and he insists of having a chaperone so I have to go out around 2am every night. So far, the light has not disappointed. It has lasted all night with good brightness. I have even checked it several times just before dawn and its still rocking. We have had a few overcast or raining days such that it did not have a chance to get a good charge but it has yet to run the battery down. This light is large and produces great light. The construction appears to be solid and it came with good mounting hardware. Several years ago, I bought some lights with similar features advertised that cost about twice as much. Those lights only lasted about 5 hours after a full day of sunlight and were much smaller and lower light output. I am pleased to see that the technology has improved. The other lights failed after about 6 months in tropical climate when ants moved into the housing. The company refused to warranty them, claiming that the housing was sealed and that such was not possible unless they had been opened. Hmmm, 10 lights with the same problem. Time will tell if this light is ant proof.

I want a replacement !!!
The light stopped working, it is very dim and only lasts for about 4 hours. I bought quite a few of these lights but this is the only one doing it SO FAR. The label from the sensors also came off. I would like a replacement!!!

Great lamps
These original ones are still great quality. I've had them up now for 6 months and they still work. Super bright. I use them as street lights, as in my area I am responsible for my own street illumination. I mounted one over a tree, so the wind/leaves activate the sensor, so I set it to 50% and turned off the sensor so they wont flash all night. Even at 50%, I'm happy with the illumination. I'm hoping I can get a few years out of them.
