The 7 Spiritual Habits That Will Change Your Life Forever Paperback – July 6, 2014

I just found Mr. Houge's books and they are very succinct and weighty. There is a lot of meat packed into these few pages. Very Scriptural and to the point. I highly recommend his series of 24 books from Scripture memorization to helping Christians fall in love with Jesus again or maybe for the first time. I am a Christian of over forty years but have not as yet come to that mature place where God can use me fully. I really believe that if I stick to the teachings of Adam Houge who teaches only from the Bible then I will grow up. It is never too late. As long as there is breath in the body there is time to grow in love and holiness. What a delightful way to go and the price is too good to believe!

I continue to read your books, because they inspire me to be a better Christian. When I read your books, I have what I call my a man pages. I highlight these pages because what you write is so true and I will go back and write it down.Your books just make me feel so positive and/or good about being a Christian. I also like your books because you say so much in so few pages.Please keep writing them, you have a special gift and/or insight that others don't and that we need.

This book is so well written. I feel like this author is a modern day Paul. He pulls the truth from the Bible and makes it very digestible in today’s terms. He is straight forward with love and kindness, yet bold in Christ.

Just the cover sells itself, I have lend this book to my friends, I have not read it yet, but just from her comments & the interest on a male perspective point of view is amazing, my friend has giving me notes & is sharing the wisdom that she has received from this book & applies it to her every day life. I can't wait to read the rest.

Change only comes when we really seek it. First we must know whom to believe if we are seeking change. Second we need to know a true source we will believe in and pray that as we find the answer we are willing to follow it. Then third and as the Lord leads us we are to follow each step with care and make sure it is relating to what we want to correct. We should feel and believe that we are making the change as we see our lives beginning to change. Sometime change will come quickly other times very slowly the main thing is that change is coming. Habits are hard to break But With God all things are possible. Amen.

This book was awesome. It is a relationship with God with Love. What really had a impact on me because the author writes it is written all through the book. God wants us to know his word, therefore if we don't pick up his word and read it. Then who are we? He also speaks on love is very important. I'm not a real reader but I didn't put this book down until I was done with it. Which took about 2 weeks and mostly when I read a book it takes a couple of month. So I gave the author a 5 star rating. I also made highlights and notes in the book so I can go back to refresh.

we have all been guilty of doing what pleases us. we have our routine that, we think, keeps us going. what I mean by this is, we go to work and look forward to the weekend so we can enjoy our routines, sports, crafts, having friends over, drinking, you know, those things that we like to do. if we would think more about our eternity we may decide to pray more often thus becoming a better person, one that our Lord would be proud of. eternity is forever, life on earth may last 80 or 90 years. I would choose eternity with God, I would rather live 90 years for God then eternity in hell where there is constant pain and torture.

This is one man's take on the bible and what he feels are the most important parts for you to follow to be close to God. I do not believe that any one person can dictate to you your personal relationship with God. There are clearly things in the bible it says you MUST do and things you should do and I think this guy has turned some of the should do in to must do. Let's face it, a single church dictated what was going in to the bible and what was not (thus the exemption of the books of Mary and Judas, dead sea scrolls, etc) so although the Bible is a guide it is not perfect and is not the exact word of God. We have to develop our own relationships with the Lord and not let people selling books or passing collection plates and then buying a Bentley to drive around in tell us how right they are and how wrong we are. Do good, be good and give credit where credit is due and that is with God, not a human who thinks they can interpret his word from man made and edited text.

I chose this book because of the title, other similar titles have been encouraging and life changing.I liked this book because it was practical and easy to read. The Bible verses were encouraging and reinforced what the author had said.There wasn't any not to like in this book.I will recommend this book to my friends and family especially those who are growing cold. Spending time with God is important

I found this book inspiring because it confirmed what God through his Spirit had been instructing me to do. after a series of fasting I wrote a list of things I needed to focus on to become the person God wanted me to be which included some huge changes in lifestyle. Five of the points on my list were the same as listed in the seven of this book. I loved the simplistic way the points were explained and every scripture quoted was relevant. We can sometimes be deceived into thinking that God does not require much from us but as the book explains, the more you submit yourself to seeking Him and obey His words biblically and through the leading of his Spirit, the more you will align yourself to his will and understand the need, as well as have the desire to make him Lord over every aspect of your life.

This book is very helpful on putting things in focus as a Christian. It clearly outlines the things that may seem 'obvious' as Christians but sometimes so easily overlook & at times forget to do. Great book!

Such an edifying book, denunciations informing thereafter in such a passionate way, how to live, abiding in Christ, and highlighting the steps for every Christian to draw closer to God, in order to come into alignment with his divine will for our lives.
