Sealed the Rivets and Seams on my Valco
I bought an old '71 Valco U14. There were numerous small leaks along the transom seam. I wanted to make sure it was seaworthy so I used a belt and suspenders approach. FIrst I used Alumalloy brazing rod and sealed the whole seam on the outside where the hull joins the transom. Then, to be extra sure it would not leak, I used this product to seal the whole seam on the inside after I had the area sandblasted. I mixed up enough to paint the entire seal all the way up to the gunnel rail. I got a uniform layer seal over the rivets and along the flange edge to the hull skin. Just be careful you don't put too much on the vertical sides or it will run down to the bottom and flow out making the seal look sloppy. Look for possible bubbles that can pop and leave gaps in the coverage. It was not too hard to deal with. Once you put it on keep an eye on it for about a half hour and backbrush if it starts to run.

It works
Worked as advertised. Had a couple small scrapes that went through my kayak. Made a thick mix of the expoxy and it sealed them once it set. At least 8 hours to make sure it drys and hardens. Only negative is the color did not match. It was the bottom so no big deal for me.
