These boots are replicas of Vietnamese Jungle Boots, foam insoles are a new invention... Grow up, man up, or buy insoles for your pedicured, softly moisturised footsies. The canvas ankles allow for more movement than standard leather boots. Like with any leather boots, you have to wear them in, so expect rubbing in places. Of course you get a ridge line from where your toes lift, just like any other leather boots. I'm that happy with them, I'll buy another pair. Combine these with puttees and you are ready for any terrain. Are they perfect? Show me anything that is. Are they worth the money? 100%. (4stars because let's be honest.... You can pay much more for higher end stuff, but for the price, these things are great.)

A: I am not sure, I have never actually measured my foot. However I normally wear a size I and ordered a 9 and it was way, way to big. Even with wool boot socks it was to big. Order a size smaller.

A: Apon continued wear all military boots compact for mobilization. Yes, this particular style and make folds down.

I bought these for a guest in a shelter where I work. The boots fit right, and should last awhile. They are not mil-spec, but they are good enough for this purpose.
