You can adjust the height if your legs by putting a board or some kind of extension under the table top at the top of the leg. Most table legs are not more than 30 inches tall

When folded, what is the height from the bottom of the table?

Somewhere in the 1 3/4 to 2in range. Hard to measure with the "socket" being rounded.
