Starting off with my only complaints: I wish the handle was slightly thicker and I wish I was not assigned a random color when placing the order. The handle is not a big deal and is just a matter of preference as I have bigger hands and for me, I do not care about what color I get, but I could see why someone would not appreciate that. In terms of quality however, everything is beautiful. The grip is easy to hold and has a soft gel squish to it. It glides through tangled hair without yanking on it and it compresses into itself when pressure is applied to avoid mauling your scalp. It feel like quality and feels like it will last a long time. Additionally, it works wonderfully for all hair types as well, it's a good buy.

I bought this to replace another Goody Gelous Grip hair brush that was over 10 years old. I loved the old one because the bristle/bristle pad was soft and did not hurt your scalp. This new brush is great, with the gelous grip and all, but the bristles are not quite as soft.

For some reason I really like a gel handled brush. My last gel handled brush had grooves and much nicer to hold even my grand daughter loved it. But this one is nice very sturdy and the bristles move easily and comes through snarly hair good without hurting and kind of massages the scalp too. I would buy it again.

My previous brush worked perfectly at detangling my hair for 6 years and when the tips of the bristles started coming off I had the dumb idea to switch to a different brush. The new brush did not detangle my long, thick, coarse hair. The bristles would just bend. So I went and bought another Goody Gelous brush. Like they say, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Sorry for ever leaving your side Goody. I'll never make that mistake again.

I needed a new cushion brush to replace my old Goody. Goody cushion brushes were sold out at the time, so I bought the Conair brush. That was a mistake. When I tried it, my hair was immediately full of static. So I tried the old Goody brush again and, sure enough, no static to speak of. So even though the Goody brush was sold out, I placed the order and waited. It arrived 6 weeks earlier than expected. And I was relieved that it was as good as the old one, causing virtually no static. My only suggestion to Goody would be to eliminate the gel handle. It's very squishy which makes me wonder if it will last very long. For the low price, though, I don't mind buying a brush more often if it doesn't make my hair stand up :-)

I ordered this brush for my husband, to replace a far-too-old different Goody brush whose bristles have seen better days. The image shows a black hairbrush, and the description refers to it as Red. I received a very bubblegum/baby pink brush. This is not the brush my husband wants to use, now. :(

The gel grip is wonderfully comfy in your hand. Excellent hairbrush. Purchased this one to replace another "Goody" brand brush I had previously for many years. Excellent product quality. I have really thick hair and found that this brush gets the job done with minimal effort! Highly recommend! The colour you get will be random which is the only minor fault. I got the red, super happy!

The package looks old, the product is dusty and its back is all scratched. This either is not brand new or it sat for so long in a warehouse that it got deteriorated.
