Great well pump for the price
Great value for the price. Works great on my shallow well. Easy to install.

Quality replacement
My house pump went out and I was rushing to find a replacement. These were prime so I pulled the trigger. Connection was easy. Pump is extremely quiet and much more powerful than the pump it replaced. It runs smooth and is efficient. I purchased a second unit to keep as a backup that I have stored in my pumphouse This is a great pump and has been flawless for a few months. If it dies in the next year, I’ll update this review. But for the price this unit is very well built and so quiet. Can not hear it running from the house (75’)

Today we insalled it.
Our 1 hp well pump went belly up.& For the Price this appeared to be the best bang per buck. The pump is 1/2 hp and the install wen surprisingly easy. Having the ejector in the package is a plus. there is not pressure gauge nor is a foot valve in the package you need to buy those and have then ready. So far it seem to be working great. I will update this review in a month.

great pump
The 3/4" line runs 50' in lake then 25' uphill and into cottage. TIPS: Throw away the rubber gasket that came with pump, and just use a tube of "gasket maker" on each piece to be connected on front of pump, wait two minutes before assembly, then tighten the two bolts. SECOND , in order to prime the pump, the 1 1/4" plug in top of pump is where you must pour water in to prime it. You must install a check valve a short way from the pump. The small hole is on top of pump is an air bleeder. You CAN NOT PRIME PUMP USING SMALL HOLE. At the bottom of the hill, I cut the 3/4" pex line and added a tee, and a gate valve with a female hose adapter. By connecting a hose I was able to fill the entire line with water before priming the pump. I ran a dedicated 110 volt line from panel box. The pump should be on its own 20 amp breaker. It runs fine on 110, but it would be better to run a 240. Last thing, the pump is wired for 110, but if you use 110 there is a little switch you move to 110, it comes set for 220. The cut in pressure is 20lbs, cut out pressure is 40, so the air tank needs to be pumped up to 18lbs. The pump works fine, great value for the money. I also purchased a separate kit with pressure gauge, relief valve and tee for connections to pressure tank. I made the job easy. I started by using 8 large cinder blocks stacked 4 wide and two high for a platform. Five stars for the pump!!!!

WORKS PERFECTLY - LIKE A SCREENDOOR ON A SUBMARINE!
This pump leaked like a sieve from the get-go, despite professional installation and re-installation. It failed from the start. The issue appears to be faulty machining between critical seams where the primary gasket fits. Fortunately we bought the Asurion coverage and are returning the item. Save yourself $ and headache and buy a better pump. Hopefully the Asurion return goes well - we have to package up the heavy item and take it to a shipper.

Great pump that performs just as well as a brand name pump
I had a brand name pump pulled from my cisterns to provide household water pressure. Unfortunately, it started to leak. When looking for a replacement, I found this Acquaer pump at a significant lower price that the direct brand name replacement. I decided to give it a try. The construction of the pump is pretty much identical to my previous pump. Installation was pretty easy and straight forward. It was a direct drop in replacement for my previous pump. The only negative thing that I can think to mention is that the switch for the 220/110 is located inside the plastic housing next to the pressure switch. The voltage selection switch is just laying inside this housing and is not mounted. The connections were protected with heat shrink insulation, but I would have like to have seen that switch mounted. Priming the pump was easy and once primed, it immediately started building pressure in my pressure tank. When operating, the Acquaer pump produces the same amount of noise as my previous pump. I have had the Acquaer for over a month now and it is performing just as well as the brand name pump I had previously. As long as I get at least 5 years out of this pump, I will be happy. If you are looking for a pressure pump or a shallow well pump, take a serious look at the Acquaer.

Reliability and cost-effective
Very reliable, quiet and for half the price of its predecessor. I was also impressed with the plug in capabilities--- plug and pump.

Specs don’t hold up
Bought this pump to draw water from a canal to run yard irrigation. Installed the pump on a dock with 1-1/4” pvc drop pipe and foot valve in the canal, drawing water from 1-3’ below dock, depending on tide height. Foot valve is positioned off the bottom of the canal, with total drop pipe length of about 8’ total vertical drop from pump elevation to pipe opening and foot valve. Pump outlet goes into a 1” discharge pvc with a manifold connected to 3 faucets to hook up hoses approximately at the same level as the pump. I will eventually instal permanent in-ground irrigation system, but, for now, I’m dragging 5/8” gardening hoses connected to spike-type impact (Rain Bird) heads. Pump instal was easy. I mounted the pump to a stand attached to my dock, switched motor to 115 v setting, and filled impeller assembly with water. Pump quickly primed and pumped water directly after plugging in the power cord. I did have to adjust the cutout pressure side of the switch to prevent continuous short cycling as pump is apparently shipped with cutout at about 40 psi. Once done, the pump will keep up with the 3 spikes at about 42 psi, according to the installed pressure gauge. I checked the specs on the impact heads, and each is rated at 3.1 gpm @ 45 psi for a total of 9.3 gpm running all three heads. I added a fourth head, but pressure drops to less than 20 psi, and that is too low to make all 4 impact heads cycle properly and throw distance of water also drops significantly. I then checked gpm output of the pump using a 5 gal bucket with no heads attached (that is, I opened all three faucets directly into the bucket, timed fill rate and divided accordingly to produce the gpm). Three separate tests worked out to calculate a gpm rate for the pump at about 10 gpm with full open faucets and about 15-20 psi. Closing the faucets slightly will increase pressures, but drops gpm to about 9 gpm at 40 psi. Bottom line: this is an inexpensive pump that will work for small irrigation projects, but don’t expect it to meet the expectations for gpm published with the pump. Specs list hourly output at 1,200 gals, which converts to 20 gpm assuming 1,200/60 mins = 20 gpm. Truth is , actual gpm is about half of published rate. The pump seems to run fine otherwise and is only moderately loud as pumps go. As I get to the irrigation installation, I will use sprinkler heads suited to “dirty water” with interchangeable nozzles to accommodate reduced gpm of the pump.

Great design!
So far so good! Better design at all levels, it even comes with cable and plug! It needs a third mounting point/bolt for over the tank installation.
