Are the top 2 colored lines fixed with icons, or can they be programmed with text? Are they true colored pixels, or just a colored mask?

According to the product description, this device does not have any fonts, the user must provide them, meaning the interface accepts pixels that form the shapes you create; those shapes can be text characters or icons. Hence, you can display whatever you want there.

The colors are fixed. The top rows are yellow and the rest white. You can put whatever text you want at the top but if the font is too big the colors will be split.
