Review: This was a good deal, great for beginners! - I'm a professional crocheter, I bought 2 similar kits, to test them, this one was the better choice. Correct yardage. The yarn is consistent throughout the strand. The skeins are nice and uniformly wound. It is soft and the weight is a 3/dk. I would purchase this again, and it would make a nice starter kit for a beginner. Works well with a 3.5 hook, could go with a bit smaller or a bit larger hook. Good selection of colors. Yes the skeins are small, they are supposed to be, bon bon size. Work great for small amigurumi projects. You could, but shouldn't, make afghans, sweaters, hats, dishcloths or pot holders with this yarn. It is bargain yarn probably would not wash well. So get some and make a cute little amigurumi project.

My punch needle kit didn't come with a case, so I just keep all of my supplies conveniently with the yarn in the bag.
