Game-Changer for Tight Spaces and Tall Creators
This IFOOTAGE Cobra RB-A400 monopod absolutely deserves a 5 star review. As a content creator and hobbyist DJ, Iโve cycled through my fair share of standsโfor speakers, lights, cameras, trussesโyou name it. This one is hands-down amazing.. First off, the packaging blew me away. It was extremely well thought-out and protective. You can tell this brand takes pride not only in their products but in the customer experience. It arrived in perfect condition, and honestly, with packaging this secure, I doubt shipping damage is ever an issue. Now the build qualityโwow. This monopod is solid, sturdy, and clearly made to last. The aluminum construction feels premium, and the base is both compact and stable, perfect for my small bedroom content studio where a traditional tripod just didnโt cut it. At 6'3", I struggle with standard tripod heights and awkward leg leveling. You know the drillโadjust one leg, then the second, then the third, step back, only to realize itโs leaning slightly because one leg is a few millimeters off. So you do the whole dance again. Not with this. This monopod extends to nearly 80 inches, giving me perfect eye-level shots without all that tripod leg gymnastics. Height adjustment is smooth, intuitive, and fastโtwist, raise, lock. Thatโs it. And itโs not just tallโitโs strong. Iโm currently using it to hold a mirrorless camera, a robust teleprompter, and an iPadโฆ and it doesnโt wobble at all. Whether youโre short on space or just want a cleaner, sleeker, and more practical solution than a bulky tripod, this is 100% worth it. Iโm already considering getting a second one. Please note this may not be a good option for outdoor uses where you need a traditional tripod - this is perfect for indoor use.

Sturdy
Item was easy to assemble and is very well made. Sturdy. Better than expected. Fits a compact space and securely holds my teleprompter.

Amazing stand, not very tall
It surprised me how strong these stands are. The round base makes the visual footprint very minimal at events. Highly functional for mounting cameras and lights. Make sure you get a 1/4โ adapter if you plan to mount cameras or a cameras base to it since it comes with a 3/8โ screw out of the box. Only downside is height since itโs not very tall at max height. Overall great product, bought 2 and will buy again.

Excellent Light Stands, Mixed Results for CamerasโKnow Your Use Case
I jumped on the round-base monopod trend after seeing them everywhere online, and after extensive testing, here's the real story: As Light Stands: Nearly Perfect These excel at what they're designed for. The flat circular base is a game-changer in tight studio spacesโno more tripping over traditional tripod legs. I've used them with GVM 300 and 200 light heads without issues. The aluminum construction feels solid, and the 79" maximum height accommodates most lighting setups. Build Quality: - Quality aluminum throughout - Wide, heavy base provides excellent stability - โ " screw top with included light head pin for easy attachment - Extension adjustment is smooth and reasonably easy to tighten Not a fan of the twist-ring tightening systemโI'd prefer locking mechanisms, but the rings do allow precise height adjustment For Cameras: Proceed with Caution This is where things get complicated. Lightweight PTZ (remotely operated) cameras work beautifullyโyou get steady footage without touching the stand. However, traditionally operated cameras that require hands-on adjustment introduce noticeable sway, especially when extended to full height. Changing settings, pressing record, or adjusting focal length will vibrate the stand. Not usually a huge problem, just make sure this does not translate into your footage. Additionally, these vibrate in high-volume environments like concerts or events with thumping bass, but that is surely not what these where designed for anyway. The felt-like material on the base helps with minor vibrations (and protects floors), but don't expect isolation from serious sound. Aftermarket dampeners can help but add to the already steep cost. Quirky Design Note: There's a rubber ring around the outer edge that constantly peels off and curls upโI removed mine. Unclear if it's packaging or intentional design. I imagine it is a bumper when moving them around but manufacturer should consider gluing this down or something. The Price Question: $110-$210 Yes, it's expensive. But if floor space is your enemy and you're running a small studio with lighting gear, these solve a legitimate problem that cheaper alternatives don't. Projector stands cost less but lack the height range and weight capacity. Bottom Line: Highly recommended for light stands in space-constrained studiosโthey're worth the premium. For camera use, only invest if you're running PTZ systems in controlled, quiet environments. All in all a versatile piece of kit.

Great Desktop Camera Stand, love the wide and flat base
This is a great desktop stand for cameras, webcams. The wide but thin base provides plenty of support but the base is almost unnoticeable on your desk. Reduce desk clutter and increase your desk space while supporting another camera. You know you need another camera angle.

Great concept with a few flaws
I love the concept of this stand. The base is weighted and itโs very sturdy. I have no doubt that it is stable. Itโs not air cushioned. So itโs not smooth when it goes up and down. There is a little resistance and friction when raising and lowering. This is not a deal breaker though because it does work and locks in place without any drift. I had trouble connecting the base to the leg; the screw was stripping and leaving shavings. With enough force, I got it connected but Iโm not confident that it would go back if I took it apart again. If you donโt need it to be portable and can keep it assembled, itโs a great addition to the studio. It definitely helps with space. If you need to take it on location, itโs not compact or easy to assemble/tear down.
