The flip flops actually have more arch support than most shoes. I would the this customer buy a size 10!

I just let them sit outside on the picnic table for a day and the smell was gone, it's a new rubber smell. The're great now, good foot support.

a 9 should be fine. I wear 43. A 9 is on my foot edge to edge. A 10 looks more my size. So for 42 I'd go with a 9
