How about the bluetooth bass mode?

The Bluetooth speaker dose have bass mode. I don't make a huge difference in the sound but it helps. For the size and price it's a great speaker.

Does anyone’s speaker play a little chime sound randomly even when it is turned off?

For some speakers, the little chime can mean the speaker is running low on power and needs recharging.

how do i pair this with an iPhone?

This is a Bluetooh speaker. I've paired it with a Windows PC and Android phone via the normal Bluetooth process. I'm not too familiar with iPhone's, but suspect that they have Bluetooth capability. If so, turn on Bluetooth, look for the speakers, and connect to them. If the iPhone doesn't have Bluetooth, maybe their is a 3rd party device that will allow you to add it to your phone.

Is the red case actually red? It looks pink in the photo.
