Works great with MSI Raider GE76-12UE from Costco
My MSI Raider GE76 came with 16GB ram and it was running maxed out, all the time. MSI isn't great about documenting the specs so I took a leap of faith on the Intel 12th Gen compatability and it worked out great. The install was easy, just all the screws onnteh bottom of the cade, pop the metal cover over the memory off starting at the white arrow. The laptop runs a LOT faster on 64GB vs 16GB of ram! Memory is crazy expensive these days, but its still cheaper than buying a new system that likely also needs upgraded!

Solid Performance Upgrade - After 6 Months of Use
I have been using this Crucial 64GB DDR5 RAM kit (2x32GB) for the past six months, and I believe I’m in a good position now to provide a thorough review based on real-world performance. Before this upgrade, my laptop had 16GB of RAM, which was becoming a bottleneck for my workflow. Since switching to this 64GB kit, the improvement has been substantial. I run multiple heavy applications simultaneously, including data-intensive software like SERIES and MGmine. So far, the RAM has handled everything I’ve thrown at it without any slowdown or crashes. I tend to put a lot of stress on my system with dozens of browser tabs open, large datasets loading, and virtual machines running in the background, and this RAM kit has consistently delivered smooth and stable performance. Installation was straightforward, and my system instantly recognized it. The 4800MHz speed is fast, and while the CL40 latency is on the higher side, I haven't noticed any practical drawbacks in day-to-day use or under heavy workloads. Overall, this has been a fantastic upgrade. If you're a power user, content creator, programmer, or someone dealing with high-memory workloads, this kit is worth the investment. It’s reliable, fast, and gives your laptop a serious performance boost.

A very pleasant surprise doubling my memory
Crucial RAM 64GB Kit (2x32GB) DDR5 4800MHz Laptop Memory Short and to the point review: Dell Laptop G16 7630 i9-13900hx, Rtx 4070, 16GB RAM. I installed the 64GB kit and it works as it should. Dell says only up to 32GB, Crucial said 64GB. I had to physically sign for this item. Extremely happy. Long and rambling review: I was hesitant to install this kit at first as Dell indicated only 32GB as maximum memory. I went to Crucial and they said 64GB would work. A Dell and Reddit blog said the same for my laptop. I paid $1299 new for the 16GB unit 2 weeks ago. Adding another 16GB thru Dell bumped the price to $1999. $700 for a $40 chip – OW! (I paid $170 for the Crucial 64GB kit). Having bought Dell’s for years (this is number 13 and the 5th laptop) I know better than to get any additional items with the unit. I got Win 11 Pro for $20 instead of paying $95 at Dell. I love Dells as they always work, not the fastest but uptime is more important than speed. Automotive looks at this the same way. Can’t remember the last time I saw a BSOD on a Dell. Probably last century with Win95 (who didn’t). I have upgraded at least 5 laptops and a few desktops with Crucial. Always works. I’ve included a few Geekbench tests as proof. Can’t say what other laptops this would work on. Peruse the comments here and on the net, go to Crucial. One person indicated that he had to reboot several times before the laptop saw the memory. Same for me – on the 3rd boot, screen said new memory detected and that was it. Geekbench also indicated that the memory was running at the correct speed of 4800MHz. The G16 came with a 1TB 2230 drive (why?). Moved the posts and put my $95 2TB Samsung 990 Pro as the boot drive and a Kingston 2TB as the second SSD. Retired Military Aerospace and Industrial Manufacturing Engineer

It works exactly as it should work
I bought it. It fits my laptop and it works. The second day my laptop froze but it turns out that I was the problem. I reseated the ram and its working perfect. I bought this in July and it's still working in January. I never have to worry about closing chrome tabs or closing any of the 7 games I have running and it no longer freezes. Great product.

Dell XPS 15 9520 owners READ THIS!
I recently purchased a Dell XPS 15 9520 in early May and it only had 16gb but since RAM is literally one of the easiest things to install yourself I never pay extra for the "upgraded" ram from Dell or any other manufacturer and just install it myself at literally about 1/3 of the cost Dell, HP, Alienware, etc want to charge you for it. Anyway, I build desktop PCs for folks, run a couple media servers, and have personally owned and used laptops myself since the late 90s. Again, adding some extra ram was always an easy proposition - the worst part being prying off the bottom of the laptop and not breaking the plastic or scratching the edges etc. Once installed, you'd just power it back on. There would be a slightly longer delay to boot up than usual for the first boot after the upgrade but then everything would be fine. I've done it countless times for laptops and desktops alike....but this Dell is different. I did two upgrades at the same time this go 'round for my laptop. I had upgraded from a 1tb sky hynix nvme that came stock to a 990 Pro 2tb and also bumped up from 16gb ram to 64gb. I installed both at the same time...turned the pc back on and, the Dell boot logo pops up like normal and then.....nothing....it just sits there....and sits there some more. 5 minutes pass...nothing...just a static boot logo on the screen. I assumed the cloned drive was likely the culprit and swapped back the original drive first and turned it back on...same thing...just the boot logo would pop up. So i tried putting back in the stock ram and voila...booted normal again. Swapped out for the 990 pro and left the stock RAM back in and once again just a static Dell boot logo for 5 minutes with no signs of anything changing so I thought the issue was definitely the RAM was incompatible for some reason and I was getting ready to return it when I started googling some more about this laptop. I already knew it's notorious for not taking ram from corsair or kingston for some reason but from everything I had read this Crucial ram worked fine as an upgrade. Eventually, after getting lost in so many threads with people struggling to upgrade RAM on this laptop I came across a reddit thread with people saying even the Crucial ram was giving them issues but thankfully one person said you literally have to wait a LONG time for it to recognize the new amount of RAM. This person said you have to let it sit on that Dell boot logo for at least 20 minutes before it will finally recognize there's some new RAM installed. So I put the Crucial ram back in...booted to that static Dell logo and waited...and waited...about 25 minutes later it finally pops up with a new screen saying "the amount of memory detected has changed. press ok to continue". I pressed ok and it restarted and went straight into the OS like normal lol. So, long story short. it DOES work but the laptop makes it seem like it's not working. I've NEVER seen a PC take THAT long to reconize new ram installed but this one does so if you own this lovely laptop please be advised this is normal and just let it sit there and do it's thing for about 25 minutes. It'll work...eventually lol. So far I haven't had any additional issues with slow boot times. The whole booting to OS process only takes around 7-10 seconds now like it should. Fantastic savings over buying the Dell ram. 64gb of Dell ram is close to $500 currently. I got this 32gbx2 kit on Prime Day for $130. MASSIVE savings. In fact I was able to get the 990 PRO 2tb nvme and this kit and STILL save almost $250 total versus just what Dell wants for the ram kit.

Outstanding Performance Upgrade for DDR5 Laptops - Worth Every Penny
After upgrading my new laptop with this Crucial 64GB DDR5 kit, I can confidently say it's been a game-changer for my workflow. The installation was straightforward, and the modules were immediately recognized at the rated 4800MHz speed. The CL40 latency might seem high compared to DDR4, but that's typical for early DDR5, and the increased bandwidth more than makes up for it. I've noticed significantly improved multitasking performance, especially when running multiple virtual machines and heavy design software simultaneously. The build quality is exactly what you'd expect from Crucial - solid and reliable. The modules run cool even under heavy loads, and I haven't experienced any stability issues or BSODs since installation. Power consumption seems efficient, which is crucial for laptop battery life. For content creators and professionals who need to future-proof their system, this kit is ideal. The 64GB capacity gives you plenty of headroom for demanding applications, and the DDR5 technology ensures you're ready for upcoming software requirements. The price point might seem steep, but considering you're getting cutting-edge DDR5 technology and a massive 64GB capacity, it's actually reasonable for what you're getting. Just make sure your laptop supports DDR5 and can handle 64GB before purchasing. Pros: Excellent stability Great for multitasking Future-proof capacity Reliable brand Good thermal performance Cons: Premium price point Higher latency than DDR4 (though normal for DDR5) Overall, if you need high-capacity, modern RAM for your DDR5-compatible laptop, this Crucial kit is a solid choice that delivers on its promises. 4.5/5 stars

Works well in Dell XPS 15
Purchased this memory to upgrade my 2023 Dell XPS15 from 16GB to 64GB of memory. The back of the laptop came apart easily and installation was a breeze. The laptop does take a while to boot 1st time and does throw up a screen that indicated memory size has changed, but it's simply "OK" and it boots up. Since first boot in now boots normally and works flawlessly. If you're after a memory upgrade for your XPS 15 I'd recommend these Crucial DDR5 modules.

Good support, Fast, Satisfying!
I use a 64GB Kit (2x32GB) DDR5 4800MHz CL40 on my Acer Nitro AN515-58-76LP, and it works fine as I expected! This is the maximum RAM size and speed this laptop can support! I am pleased about that because the manufacturer told me it supports just a 32GB Kit (2x16GB) DDR5 MAX!! But they are wrong! Thanks to Crucial technical support! I have to mention first time boot after the upgrade took for few minutes and it's OK!
