First things first. It's a wet palette, and a dry palette... and it can store your brushes. That's what it's been designed for and that is what it does- very well. However, there's a couple of other things this palette does that I quiet like: The size: It sits somewhere between the smaller palettes (Army Painter/RGG) and the blue Red Gras Games Palette. The sponge/paper: It does come with a monster of a sponge and exceptional paper. I did not like the papers that came with my other palettes, but this paper is outstanding! I have filled up the sponge with water last 5 days ago, and used my first sheet of pre-cut paper . Since then I've used the palette every night (for at least 3 hours) without having to re-fil the water, or having to change the paper. I usually cut baking paper into sheets for my RGG palette, which after 3 days starts to dissolve slightly. It can be related to the paper- but I have tried 2 different brands and all dissolve after a few days. The included paper did not do this. I am very happy with the palette and I would buy it again.
