What is the Golf Pride CPX grip?

CPX is Golf Pride's softest performance grip — an EXO rubber compound and diamond-quilted surface maximizing comfort without sacrificing traction. Built for golfers who prefer a soft and highly tactile feel throughout the swing.

Who is the CPX designed for?

CPX is purpose-built for golfers who want maximum comfort — especially those with hand fatigue, arthritis, or joint sensitivity. Its larger lower hand builds in a naturally relaxed connection for a smoother, more effortless swing.

How soft is the CPX, and what does that mean for feel?

CPX is meaningfully softer than most grips on the market — reviewers compare it to memory foam. It absorbs rather than transmits vibration, which reduces fatigue but limits raw impact feedback. Ideal for golfers who prioritize comfort.

Does the CPX's softness affect grip stability or control?

No. Despite its exceptional softness, the CPX's diamond-quilted EXO surface provides secure traction against gloves and bare hands. Reviewers skeptical of soft grips describe being surprised by how stable and confident it feels in use.

How does the CPX help golfers with arthritis or chronic hand issues?

CPX's EXO compound is engineered to maximize vibration absorption at impact. For golfers with arthritis or joint sensitivity, this cushioning meaningfully extends playing comfort. Sizing up to midsize or jumbo amplifies the benefit further.
