Although advert says that it is for boats up to 6000lbs, this is when on a horizontal surface. When pulling a boat on a trailer which is in a ramp, then the pulling capacity falls drastically, even down to 1000 - 2000lbs, depends on ramp angle.

I've yet to try this out loading my boat onto it's trailer, but have installed on my trailer as a permanent fixture. Using my existing winch platform with a slight mod to secure in place, I am confident on it's structural strength & pull capacity to get my boat out of the water with the greatest of ease. Would have liked this particular model with a wireless remote but will make due with the 10ft power cord remote. Still debating on installing it's own battery source that can be recharged through my 7 wire trailer connector when pulling the trailer. Do I recommend this 6000lbs 12V winch by MegaFlint? YES!! Most definitely!

Could use bigger size cable , lt gets a workout with my boat

This winch arrived in the beginning of April 2019, I stalled on July 20th, 1st use on Aug. 4th then on Aug. 11th...broke on the 2nd use, no phone contact..only email option or Skype or Facebook, I don't do Facebook or skype...will use the email, but not very hopeful on any positive results, like a replacement or refund my $$$ at this point, would no recommend this item to anyone

It sure would be great to see a way better controller, it's very cheaply built and i can see it will not last, as well the reallyes are a very poor quality, again I don't think that they will last, and last but not least it would be nice to see syntactic rope rather steal cable.
