Terrapin Ridge Farms Gourmet Spicy Chipotle Garnishing Sauce - Two 14 Ounce Squeeze Bottles

I have been searching for good chipotle sauce when I came across this souse, it is delicious on everything, pasta, tacos, burgers, chicken. It has mild spicy smoked taste. On my second order I found 36 ounce bottle for 20.00 dollars on Amazon got 2 bottles, it is great product.

Chipotle has always been a bit of a mixed bag for me. It's either been all smoke, or all pepper, but never a solid balance of both. Enter Terrapin Ridge. I first found a bottle of this at a big box discount retailer and decided to give it a go. Oh my goodness, this stuff is amazing! A touch of heat, a hint of smoke, it's the perfect combination to take a sandwich from "Not bad," to "What's your trick?!!?!" Take a couple slices of sourdough, butter them up and toss them on the griddle (butter side down). Add a weighty slice of sharp cheddar to once slice, grill until the bread is just starting to brown and the cheese is warm, but not melty. Add a heap of finely shaved turkey or chicken (bonus points if it's herb-roasted), add your Terrapin Ridge sauce, a little mustard, and a dash of pepper, assemble your halves into a sandwich and grill until rich, golden brown. Serve with a spicy dill and watch your friends and/or family look on in bewilderment as you trick them into believing you finally learned how to cook!You can turn regular ranch dressing into chipotle ranch with this stuff. It goes nicely on burgers, too.

Absolutely Amazing

I have been buying and eating this for years. I don't ordinarily like 'spicy'... but it's just the 'right' amount of spicy for me. I gave it 4 stars for 2 reasons: One, the top is really hard to figure out how to open. It's a squeeze bottle, you don't take off the whole top. BUT there's no instruction that you have to poke something into the tip (first cut a bit off the tip) to squeeze out the sauce. The second reason for the 4 stars is they put a huge white label onto the bottle with an expiration date that's impossible to get off.... and when serving this, I like to just put the bottle on the table. The huge white label destroys 'the look'.

I have tried this Gourmet sauce on Chipotle Pizza with Chipotle refried beans as a base, and Beef in a Chipotle simmer sauce with this as a Garnish on top. It made a great Southwest Pizza!I also mixed Albacore with Chipotle Mayo, and used this as a Garnished on top, with excellent results as well. I would buy this again. I am pondering this next possibilities!

O.K., they call it a garnishing sauce not a hot sauce Probably should have been forewarned. I was looking for a mildly spicy sauce with a strong smokey effect from the chipotle chilies. This has a very mild spice and is heavily overlayed with garlic and mustard completely drowning out any smokey effect. It doesn't taste bad, but wasn't what I had hoped for.
