I love how clean this tastes as compared to the fire dried leaves. Excellent quality and great taste. I love to add my own fresh thyme or cinnamon to either the water or the cup itself

Huge bag and super value! I have not tried it yet. I will update it with pics when I try it. It is organic though and came super fast. I am just trying it because I really like Yerba mate but want to not have the white sugar. This way I can add my own sweetener and elderberry etc like in the blue euphoria Yerba mate. I really like those if I’m getting a sore throat or flu at all. Probably more the elderberry than the Yerba but you never know. I also wanted to make this to keep in my fridge like an ice tea because it is the main ingredient in termo fx ( People’s Chemist) for weight loss.

I’ve ordered this a number of times and it has a good taste as well as being organic and the 2.2 pounds for the price is very economical. I will continue to buy this as long as this is available on Amazon.

I recently purchased the BALIBETOV Organic Yerba Mate Tea and found it to be a good quality loose leaf tea. Overall, while the BALIBETOV Organic Yerba Mate Tea is a good quality tea, the non-resealable packaging and lack of caffeine information could be improved upon. Nonetheless, the fresh taste of the tea and ease of brewing make it a good choice for those who enjoy organic yerba mate tea.

This is a large 2.2 lb bag, so the value for the price is excellent and it lasts a long time if you drink mate regularly. The flavor is clean and smooth, and being unsmoked gives it a fresher taste than many traditional smoked mates. Very hot water makes mate taste overly bitter. Brewing with slightly cooler water brings out a much better flavor. A few avid mate drinkers who tried it also liked it and plan to buy it. I’ll definitely purchase it again.

I saw some videos on tiktok that said that yerba mate is like an all natural “ozempic” dupe, and while thats definitely not true, I found a lot of research that said yerba mate is a really good source of smooth and natural energy and can help boost your metabolism. First things first, the bag is HUGE. Depending on how much you use per serving this will last you forever and based on the smell it’s definitely strong and potent. As soon as I opened the bag I was greeted with an organic, earthy, grassy matcha-esque smell that was very pleasant. I brewed it in warm water along with some lavender buds and the brew was very tasty and not bitter at all. Im usually a sweet drink drinker but since this is supposed to be a healthy alternative to my daily morning juneberry redbull I decided to forgo the sweetener and drank it plain. I enjoyed my first cup and was surprised at how smooth and easy to drink the taste was, I often find plain tea and coffee hard to choke down because of the bitterness but this was very nice The brew was very transparent in color and came out as a pale green liquid and I think this may be due to my temperature, and steep time. I want to experiment with different blends like adding mir lavender, peppermint, and fresh lemon, and I also want to try making it cold brew We will see how it goes!

As a Brazilian gaucha, I’m very unhappy with this yerba mate. I’ve ordered it specifically because I saw it was organic and the original production zone was my state in Brazil. However, once I opened the package I realized it was the Argentinian mill, not brazilian. Nothing wrong with that, I like Argentinian style yerba if I’m having Argentinian mate with my AR hermanos. But see, southern Brazilians do a different thing with the yerba in the cuia (the traditional drinking cup). With this mill it’s really hard to make the little side mount that we do for our type of brew. Not a good fit for Brazilian mate drinkers. Also, I thought this yerba was too dry, dusty, didn’t have a fresh green color like I’m used too, and therefore, didn’t taste as good. The greeness looked faded, like they would order it in bulk and don’t keep it in the best storage/transport conditions in order to keep it fresh. It tasted like old mate that you open once and then leave it in your pantry for ages. I gave it a chance with this one, but the conclusion is: the best package is still air-tight vaccum sealed. So, unfortunatelly I’ll be throwing this whole batch in the trash and not order it ever again. Maybe other people will be happy with it, but it didn’t work for me.
