i have a 45 lb dog, would he fit comfortably in this? he's a little taller than a corgi.

I am not completely positive but it is supposed to be able to hold the weight of a toddler. However, 45 lbs might be stretching it and the way it is designed would not be safe for dogs. Since the design is made for baby hips and preventing hip displaysia. Since dogs have a different makeup entirely, this would not be safe. Hope it helps.

No matter how tight I pull the New 2017 mode, babies bottom sips passed seem. Any help?

After I secure the strap around my waist I make sure to create a little pouch for my baby's bottom and then secure her in. We also didn't start using the Boba until she was past 5 months. Hope you are able to find answers as I love my Boba especially in the hot climate area where we live.
