Check rod straightness
Pretty good quality but the straightness could have been better.If you need to slide the coil that you wind onto the rod make sure to allow a little extra room between the coil form and the rod so you can slide the coil from one end to the other.If you make it too tight and the rod is not straight you may have trouble sliding it all the way. Ask me how I know!!!.

Arrived whole, none broken.
All 5 arrived safe and sound! It took 2 weeks or more. I had to re-confirm my order. Not sure why. About 57 turns of # 32 gauge wire in the middle of one of these and a variable cap in parallel, 10-360pf at mid adjustment got 770 kHz AM station here in Albuquerque.

Product good, but needs to be shipped with more padding or in a box
The product arrived as I expected, and the 3 unbroken rods were pretty much what I expected. However, 2 of the rods were broken into several pieces, some of which are too small for me to use. I planned on cutting most of them into sections anyway, but the fact that 2 of them were broken with jagged edges, only about half of those 2 can actually be used for what I want. But the remaining 3 are ok. It just needs to be packed better. If the delivery driver simply dropped them from waist height onto concrete, they would shatter just like that. Ferrite is extremely brittle. So one star for each of the unbroken ones, no stars for the broken ones.

Very good ferrite rods!
My favorite AM DXing radio took a tumble and the internal ferrite rod antenna broke in two, rendering it a paperweight. I purchased these rods to repair it and, shockingly, it now receives better than the stock antenna! I recommend these ferrite rods to any AM/MW radio enthusiast who needs to make such repairs.

Arrived fine. Work great in my application, packed well... Of Couse, ol' butterfingers promptly dropped one, and broke it... ferrite doesn't really care in my application, except for picky folks... butt the two ends together, apply shrink tube, then get on with life as if it weren't broken.... also being formed 2 side flat, they won't roll off on ya.... unless you're butterfingers...

Die Lieferung ging schnell und unproblematisch. Die Stäbe wurden lange vor der Zeit geliefert. Leider muss ich aber feststellen, dass sie nicht ganz rund sind. Trotz allem, die Ware ist top in Ordnung.

All 5 rods packed in one bubble wrap bag, 3/10 rods came snapped (ordered two 5 piece items). Quality of the rods seem OK.
