FINDMAG 40 x 40 x 20mm Neodymium Magnet Strong, Strong Rare Earth Magnet

I absolutely love this completely useless, wholly impractical, and insanely powerful magnet. I smile every time I think about it, even though it spends almost every moment of its existence nestled comfortably in a Systainer XXS with a custom printed insert, almost never seeing the light of day.

These magnets are immensely strong. Attractive force varies as the inverse *cube* of the distance. Two can can crush fingers and shatter into serious shrapnel if they get close (a few feet). It's a brittle alloy. Think before you act.

...be aware. This magnet sticks to everything. It does work fantastic. It's smaller then expected, but wow...it's very powerful.

Was looking for a really good rare earth magnet for testing Silver and man this thing is amazing. There is no doubt whether you have pure .999 Silver when using this magnet. And the size is perfect. Large enough to hold onto it, but small enough to not be hardy. Wait till you stick it to metal, the dang thing doesn’t want to come off. Will definitely buy this exact one again if I ever need another one.

Strong enough that they can be difficult to handle or remove from steel. Beware these babies can be/are dangerous from just how strong they are.
