Great Ink that flows well!
This is a really good ink. Ive use it for several months and have no issues. The write writes very well. It is durable. The shade of black is what I would expect for my ink to be. I did not have ossu with water. I've also been using it with my fountain pen for several months and it didn't clog the pen. I really have no complaints of the ink especially for the price. This is solid. The ink itself isn't opaque. There is a slight bleed with the water resistance, do I wouldn't expect it to be 100% water proof.

Really good black ink
This is a really good and underrated black ink. Its a nice deep dark black color. Of the 12 black inks I've tested, this is probably tied for 2nd or 3rd darkest. It may be difficult to tell in the picture, but its pretty clear in person. The darkest black is Cross Black. 2nd is a toss up between Noodler's X Feather, Kaweco Black Pearl, and Hongdian non carbon Black. Kaweco Black Pearl has a cool color temperature in some lighting conditions, X Feather seems neutral, and so does Hongdian non carbon Black. This Hongdian non carbon Black has good flow and is fairly smooth. It was well behaved on both ends of the nib spectrum - 1.9 Stub nib on one end (which is what I used in the picture for all of the writing samples), and a really tight Extra Fine nib on the other. I would put the amount of time it takes to dry in the medium range. It takes about 20 seconds to dry when using the 1.9 stub nib, which isn't too bad since it puts down a lot of ink. It only takes about a second to a second and a half when using the Extra Fine nib. It has pretty good water resistance, but its not as good as Noodler's X Feather in that regard. This leads to the one thing I don't like about this ink, which is that it turns purple when it gets wet. That is a minor pet peave of mine when dealing with black inks. I really prefer that they stay on the gray scale when they get wet. When cleaning out nibs or cartridge converters, this ink will turn a very deep purple when coming into contact with water and turns a nice light purple as it gets more diluted. When getting wet on paper, purplish color will come up off of the page first, but the color that remains on the page it still black, or sometimes charcoal gray depending on how much ink lifted off when it got wet. This ink is a great value and a real sleeper as far as black inks go. It will be in my regular rotation along with Noodler's X Feather and Cross Black (if I can ever find a bottle of it). Its also the least expensive of those 3. For what its worth, Kaweco Black Pearl is also pretty good except it has poor water resistance and doesn't flow for crap out of Extra Fine nibs. Hard Starts are the norm, and skipping isn't out of the question, which is why it won't be in my rotation once I am done with my cartridges. I haven't had any flow issues with it out of my stub nibs, but I need a black ink that works in Fine and Extra Fine nibs as well.

Hongdian Peacock Blue is a Winner
I did not like the last bottle of Hongdian that I bought because the color I chose (burly wood) was too light for my taste. This time I ordered Peacock Blue and I love it. It is a much richer color and looks great on paper. It performs well in the pen (Jinhao 59 fine) as well. Good ink flow and very nice to write with. 100% satisfied.

More than just black and green
This ink has the most unassuming name. Yes you get some blackness and you get a good amount of green but mostly you get a lovely vibrant deep teal. The color is dark enough that a very fine pen will leave a dark visible line, yet the color is also interesting enough that when you use a broader nib, you get interesting gradients of teal green and dark green, making it versatile for both notes and calligraphy. Also 60ml for the price is a pretty good value. The ink is NOT waterproof so maybe don't rely on it for important documents, but being water soluble means it's also very easy to clean and won't stain fabrics, so it's a good ink to mess around with and experiment with. The ink also comes in a rather thick walled glass bottle with a wide bottom, it feels hefty and topple-resistant, and the wide mouth can accommodate pretty much any size pen. The bottle cap is threaded steel with an insert to help seal the ink. It opens rather easily and I can see the bottle being totally reusable for other inks once I run out.

Reliable ink!
My go-to blue ink, it's smooth, vibrant, it's easy to clean, and really reliable and versatile for school/work/art. One bottle lasted me one and a half years because of its ink capacity, that might vary based on how often one uses the ink, but usually around 1 to 1.5 years.

Beautiful ink
There's inc is absolutely gorgeous. However, I am deducting points for accuracy. It is much lighter in the listing photo than it actually is on paper. I have put it in fine and medium pens and gotten similar color output. I will continue to buy from this brand as the ink flow is absolutely incredible. I've put it in every pen I own and had 0 issues. It layers really well, though. Personally, I do not like layering inks, as I am writing, not drawing. If you are looking for an everyday ink that isn't going to break the bank and looks beautiful.I would highly recommend this one. My purchase was in the shade of blue-black.

beautiful cool toned baby pink <3
I did LOTS of research to find the perfect pink for me, i hate hot pink in inks and i wanted a baby pink for what still legible, THIS is the one. I was so close to buying from other brands but im glad i didnt. AND its affordable, i absolutely love this ink i genuinely havent stopped writing since i received it. I included a picture and hopefully it gives you a better idea. The ink is more on the wet side which includes some shading here and there (I personally adore) . No bleed-through at all and so far its worked great on my Kaweco Perkeo fountain pen! BUY BUY

Beautiful Ink with Smooth, Reliable Flow
This ink is absolutely beautiful. The blackish green color has such a rich, sophisticated tone—dark enough to use every day, but with that subtle green depth that makes your writing feel special. Performance-wise, it’s just as impressive. The flow is smooth and consistent in my fountain pens, with no skipping or hard starts. It dries reasonably quickly and hasn’t caused any clogging issues at all, which is always a concern with bottled inks. I really appreciate that it’s non-carbon and pH neutral—it gives me peace of mind when using it in pens I care about. The bottle itself is well-designed too. The wide base makes filling easy to use and stable, and the screw-top lid seals tightly for storage. If you’re looking for a dependable ink with a unique, elegant color that still works beautifully for everyday writing, this one is a fantastic choice. I’ll definitely be repurchasing.

Hongdian: quality first
Hongdian inks are just like the pens: just perfect. This here is a beautiful dark brown. I have already decided that I will buy it again. And also try the other colours
