This book was the most suitable book I could find about preparing a child to become a big sister when the sisters will have different mothers (same father). I am not the big sister's mother, she is my partner's daughter. All of the other books I could find mentioned the mother in the story too much, which is awkward considering her mother is not involved! This book only mentioned "mommy" twice and we managed to subtly edit the book so the story wasn't ruined. I loved the bilingual aspect of the book, we read it in both languages, and the book is made of thick cardboard which seems very durable.

Cute and in English and Spanish! Great for the transition to have a new baby in the family

It has been an amazing experience for my daughter—she has understood the role very well, and she loves her book!

It’s a nice book, but I don’t like the translation into Spanish.

The story is so cute and the pages are actually thicker than a normal paper. It’s like an in between of board book and paperback. I love it! Perfect for my almost 2 year old who’s getting ready to be a big sister. The Spanish is spot on.

Delivery was on time and the book is perfect for my 18 month old daughter.

I bought this as a present for my niece and she loves it. She's going to become a big sister soon and it made her feel very special to receive this present for her. I thought it was nice to make her feel important when everyone is focusing on the new baby. It's also very nice that it is in two languages so it is ideal for anyone who wants their kids to learn English or Spanish or for any bilingual family. The book itself is super sweet and the drawings very cute.

Viene en ambos idiomas, a mí hija le gustó mucho.

A mí hija de dos años le ha encantado. Lo compré antes de que naciera el hermanito y dormía con él. Una vez ha nacido, hace lo que veía en el libro. A mí me gusta que ella y el bebé son los protagonistas. Tira el pañal, ayuda a bañarlo, a darle el biberón, juegan, le hace cosquillas y acaba con un abrazo familiar. Lo único que me disgusta es el tema del biberón, ya que soy prolactancia materna y de ese tema no sale nada, pero por lo demás es genial. Lo recomiendo para explicar la llegada de un hermanito.

Tamaño ideal para que un niño pequeño lo manipule, con bonitas ilustraciones y mensajes, que sea bilingüe es genial. A mi hija le gustó mucho.
