Great 32 bit float recorder and audio interface
Excellent 32-bit float recorder with plenty of gain for dynamic microphones like the Shure SM7B or Rode PodMic. It also works as an audio interface and is packed with features. I currently use it for podcast recording. I haven't needed more than 4 inputs, but I chose this device because of the 32-bit float support and the high gain required for dynamic mics. A few tips and notes: • Trim is important — Before recording to the 32-bit float file, you need to set the trim (the amount of gain the microphone receives). This is a key step to get right. • Using it with a PC — The only way to connect to a PC is through multi-track audio, which shows up as an ASIO device. This means if you're using OBS, you'll need to use specific workarounds to get an ASIO device working, or use something like VB Audio Matrix to route audio on Windows. • Aux out — There's an aux output you can use to connect to a camera, which helps keep audio in sync. • Limiter — Each input has a limiter with a 1ms look-ahead delay to guard against the trim or gain going over the 32-bit float ceiling. I'm not entirely sure of the details, but the manual is very detailed. Build and power: The body is metal and feels solid. There are 8 AA batteries in the back, plus a DC input, so I believe you can power it with a V-mount battery as well. I haven't used the batteries yet, but I plan on getting some nickel rechargeable ones in case the power goes out and I need to keep recording. Controls and features: The dials are easy to work with and the screen is easy to understand. There's also an auto-mix feature that helps reduce bleeding from other microphones if you're sending a stereo output to something like OBS for a podcast. Minor complaint: The USB port isn't USB-C — it's micro USB B (or mini USB B). I bought an adapter to convert it to USB-C, but the adapter sticks out a bit, and when you plug a USB-C cable into it, the cable hangs. I'm worried about the long-term durability of the port with the adapter. Otherwise, you could just use a regular micro USB cable, but I wish it had come with USB-C.

Quality build, great performance and reliable
The best recorder I ever had… 2 SD-Cards, good pre-amps, 32bit float ( this function is amazing ) great mobile and tablet app. Compatible with iOS and android. I personally use the app with apple devices and it works very smoothly without any lags… the recorder’s Menu is well designed and it’s easy to go over your device’s settings and make changes. You can have your recordings saved on both SD-Cards at the time to decrease any losses. I use the Zoom F8n pro for film sound recordings. Featured and shorts. With its 32 bit-float recording you will never record with distortions… you always have a great headroom for your waves. If you have decided to go pro on your recording devices, go for this recorder. You will love it very much

Solid Recorder for Film Production
I purchased the Zoom F8n Pro for an upcoming film project and have been impressed with it so far. It feels solid and well-built, the controls are easy to navigate, and having eight inputs gives me plenty of flexibility for recording multiple microphones on set. The audio sounds clean, and the 32-bit float recording provides extra peace of mind when working in unpredictable production environments. There are a lot of features, but the recorder doesn’t feel overly complicated once you spend a little time with it. Overall, the F8n Pro feels like a professional, reliable recorder that should serve me well on this project and many more to come. It’s not inexpensive, but considering the sound quality and features, I believe it’s a worthwhile investment for serious filmmaking.

Better than I had imagined from zoom
I was looking at this and the mix pre's. They did a really good job on this unit. I have used it on 3 short film projects so far and I have two more on the books. The only thing I either havent figured out or it might not do is to have it Jam Sync timecode. It reads and writes it very well, so I just use it as the master.

Professional Sound Mixer
A lot of bang for the buck. I use this unit as a professional sound mixer on films, TV shows, corporate jobs, and other projects. The 32-bit float recording is a great feature. It is so affordable that I carry a backup unit with me on every job.

Easy to Use and High Quality
The F8N Pro is awesome. The build quality is superb, the functionality of the field recorder is exactly what I wanted. I’ve got just over twelve hours recorded on 7 XLR inputs and I am really digging it.

Great multi-track field recorder
I have both the F8n Pro and the Sound Devices MixPre10II and use them both for field recording as well as voice over and live classical performances. In fact you can jam sync the two together to get 16 channels of mic inputs. Though I use both recorders, I often go for the F8n for its simplicity. I can get recording very quickly without a lot of menu diving nonsense (unlike the F6 which I bought and returned). The F8n is simple to use, sounds great and is built pretty well. I did have an issue with one channel of the headphone output cutting out. Probably a bad jack or poor solder joint somewhere in the output. Zoom warranty replaced the unit no questions and so far my replacement unit has been working flawlessly. The F8 control app can be helpful, though it is not essential.

Produto OK, caixa/pacote com problema
O produto estava bem acondicionado, mas a caixa chegou com um rasgo e um amassado: não sei se foi o transporte, e para o manuseio/acomodação dificulta um pouco.
