I bought this and the converter for the smaller tube as well. It works amazing. If you have ever used construction adhesive at 30 degrees to lay down a sub floor in a new house you will love this. You will go through tubes faster because it's more thorough. I have one 2 amp battery and only use this battery with this tool and it will go all day. This tool could end carpal tunnel.

I purchased this DEWALT 20V MAX Cordless Caulking Gun to add self leveling caulking to the expansion joints in my driveway. Wow, this tool is fantastic and provides substantial flow control. I manually did 3 of the 29oz tubes before I got the gun and thought my hands were going to lock closed from all the manual trigger squeezing I needed to do. this Cordless Caulking gun worked perfectly, is very easy to load and use, and allowed me to easily do 8 tubes of caulking. I ran out of driveway before I ran out of power. I highly recommend this Dewalt gun if you are applying a lot of caulking / adhesive.

I own a log home, and maintenance was overdue to seal it up right. We are talking miles of seams. I used Log Builder caulk in large tubes through this tool and it beats cramming an old fashioned caulk gun! Saved my poor arms first weekend I used it. Practice with it a bit before you jump on a project. Took a bit of finesse to get the setting right, and time the letoff. The trigger has one position for forward and another to let up. If you have stiff caulk, don’t keep the trigger pressed or you will blow a tube. Been there. Done that. Got the caulk all over to prove it. Little bit at a time does the trick. I bought two batteries and a charger kit to go with it, and I used this gun to do, by my estimates, 1500 FEET of 1/4 inch beads on ONE BATTERY, and it still showed over half charge. So do yourself a favor and buy this.

We are building a log home and this was recommended to us by the sawmill. We used it for gluing down the subfloor and adding chinking between the logs.... a real hand saver for sure. The tool automatically backs away when trigger is released to pull pressure off the tube and minimize the amount of caulk/glue the seeps from the tip when your done with the application. Handy for big jobs but the price may prohibit if you have a small job

Redid the mastic seal around my medium sized, kidney beans shaped pool/spa... Worked great! Used lowest setting, and it made quick work of the job. I have various concrete patio seems to fill now, looking forward to getting the job done with this.

I own my own electrical company and we recently started doing gates as a sub contractor. If youre installing exit and safety loops in asphalt or concrete and have to pump the sealant (which has the texture of bubble gum) into the saw cut to seal the wire in this tool is a must have. Your hand will cramp, fall off, and turn into dust trying to complete that task with a manual caulking gun. The battery life is excellent as well. We did two 6x20 loops and a 4x8 loop with a 1.5AH battery in the gun and used one bar on it. That was about 8 tubes of sealant.

This thing is awful. Have to press the trigger several times and it may or may not start. Quite expensive for a dud.

Used it for large job using acoustic Vapor synthetic rubber which is quite difficult to do with manual chalking gun for large tubes…160’ done in about 2 minutes with very even bead.

I really hesitated before buying this, but, now that I have not one regret. It’s a great gun. I use it all the time when I’m building stairs etc. I also have its little brother because personally changing everything over would be a bit of a pain.
