They are perfect for the progressive lenses since they are a taller frame and can take a bigger lens that works great as a progressive set of glasses, that also look good. Cheapest way I know to get a good quality set of eyeglasses with progressive lenses that look good. The lenses are from lensabl.com and only cost $151.12 (using a 20%off coupon that are all over the web) + the cost of these glasses $18.98 when I bought them totals to a little over $170 for a brand new set of glasses. And the lenses are made in a lab in Los Angeles California, not out sourced to China or some other country.As far as these glasses go, I can't remark on the lenses since I never used them, but the frames are holding up well and I like the adjustable and replaceable nose piece. They look good and are very comfortable to wear all day and night.The only negative I have found is that they don't stay on very well when looking down for any period of time and some of the straps you get to hold them on might not work but plenty of others do work or can be attached using various other ways. So its no big deal.If you wear eye glasses, do yourself a favor and buy a set of inexpensive sun glasses on amazon.com and then check out lensabl.com they make prescription sun glass lenses as well as clear and non prescription lenses and way less expensive than any others made in the USA. I think the lenses start at $77 for basic lenses for any frame you send them. Oh ya they will make lenses for any frame so if you have an old set for eyeglasses that have an old prescription in them but the frame are high quality or just your favorite, then have lensabl.com make a new set of lenses for those frames.By the way, I do not work or have anything to do with lensabl.com other than being a customer that likes their service. Hopefully you can see from the pictures, that there is 2 different colors to the lenses. This isn't so bad most of the time, but when you look out of your peripheral vision or turn your eyes to look, it changes color and messes with your head. It is very annoying when driving especially. Other than the two tone, I like both colors. If the lenses have been either of the two colors I would have kept them.
