i wouldn't really even call myself an audiophile, but i am a voice actress and a singer who occasionally needs to mix and master my own music. i got this because i am too obsessed with the color pink for my own good, and being introduced to studio monitoring headphones through my work, it's become impossible for me to return to using headphones branded for "gaming" and stuff. 😭 that being said, i think that i've truly gotten the cutest studio monitoring headphones. the pink is perfect with the rest of my pink setup. having the option to use a built in trs cord as well as your everyday audio jack is really convenient in case either of the wires decided to explode on me because there's a reason as to why i need to keep replacing my headphones. 💔 the trc cord is longer than i thought it would be - longer than the ones that came with my previous headphones, and it's pretty thin and lightweight so it's not a hassle to grab. it seamlessly connected to my ssl2, so that makes me pretty happy! and i do have to commend the manufacturers for the comfort level because between all of the studio monitor headphones i've had, these are already the most comfortable my ears have been with headphones and i don't feel like ripping them off after multiple hours of use. for reference, i used to have the scarlett sh450 (i still miss you so bad), samson sr850, and i'm currently using the sennheiser hd 280 pro albeit it's definitely on its last life. it's been a few years since i've started using the sennheiser and honestly, abruptly switching to the oneodio was honestly a bit jarring because in comparison it definitely is more bassy. my original song sounds noticeably different on these headphones, and i can't say it's for the better. i'm probably going to have to continue using the sennheiser for mixing specifically as i do think it has more clarity and balance in comparison to the oneodio, but i can absolutely adjust to this for more casual use and i find its quality to be exceptional for the price. not to mention, it's pink. can't get much better than that. 🥰 this is overall a 4.5⭐ studio monitor headphones, at least to someone who has worked with at least 4 other headphones prior to this. it's aesthetically beautiful, and genuinely comfortable to wear. its audio quality exceeds what it's worth, and it's especially good for someone whose ears are pickier or more sensitive. that being said, audio engineers might prefer to go for more recognized industry brands like beyerdynamic, akg, and sennheiser for more accurate sounds. serves well as music listening headphones though!

I have a HP laptop with speakers that are less than desirable. Compound this with a lifetime of audio problems, (hard of hearing), and the speakers are pretty much useless. A set of cheap computer/desktop speakers were purchased with good results as they had a separate volume control plus a jack for headphones/earbuds. Having a small desk, It was getting crowded between the laptop, the speakers and the desk light, compounded by the fact that the whole set up is against a wall that goes out to a common hallway. This restricts my volume as I don't need to have anyone hearing what I'm doing while I am online. Thus the purchase of these headphones. I chose headphones over earbuds as my ears easily get irritated when something is inserted. My main concern was two fold. The first is I have a large head, (size 7 5/8) and past ear protection devices have been pretty much uncomfortable both against the ears and overall. The second is perspiration as sweat build up occurs after extended wear. Being quite a while since I wore headphones, (2012) I did note an improvement but was still a bit gun shy. To be honest, these were not my first choice. I initially saw a set of DJ headphones with a 9' cord which appealed to me for freedom of movement. For whatever reason, these were ordered instead. These headphones came 4 days after ordering through standard, free shipping. Arriving in a soft pack with a bubble lining, the headphones were in a box enclosed within a sleeve. This made unwrapping a bit of a challenge as I wanted to save the box in case of return. Finally gaining entry, the headphones were in a bubble wrapped bag and two sets of wiring were enclosed within another. It was then I realized my error. Throwing caution to the wind, I took them out and read the enclosed the multi language manual. This was helpful as it was discovered that the ear pieces work somewhat like a person's neck. One side rotating 90 degrees counter clockwise and the other 90 degrees clockwise. Both tilted both up and down and both have extenders to adjust to the wearer. Also noted was the padding. Both ear pieces had generous padding as well as the top of the head set. It was nice to note that both sides of the ear pieces had outlets to accomodate the speaker wires. This makes it easier to plug the side in from the source thus avoiding crossover. Two sets of wires came. The first was a red, stretchable cord with a 6.5mm plug for items like guitars and speakers on one end and a 3mm plug for the head set. The cord is 2m long but can be stretched to 3m. The second cord is a 1.2m standard cord with 3mm plugs on both ends. There is also a "control" button should the wearer have the headphones plugged into a phone. Assembling the pieces, I plugged the 3mm into the cheap speakers and ran a gauntlet of various apps from music to gaming. WOW! WOW! WOW! A full, rich, clear sound was experienced through both earpieces despite the plug being on the right side. Every sound was heard, no matter how subtle. I did note, however, it was a bit "bassy" for my preference, but I was completely overwhelmed by the sound quality. Wondering if maybe the speakers may have some influence, I plugged the headset directly into the laptop. NOPE! No change in quality and I gained a little more cord in the process. After playing for about two to three hours, It was pleasantly noted that the only time it was noted the headset was on was when I reached up to my head to scratch. Very lightweight, snug, yet comfortable even with glasses. No sweat experienced. No discomfort against the ears or atop the head. The cheap speakers were then moved and attached to another device that also had less than desirable speakers. It is unknown about the noise cancellation as the residence is pretty quiet with the exception of others going up and downstairs as well as the upstairs resident. Time will tell. These are definately a keeper. Even though I have owned these less than a day, I am totally impressed with the looks, feel, and performance of these headphones. Definately a keeper and highly recommended!!!! 04/29/2019 update. These have almost constantly on my head and I have made a couple observations. 1. Despite being "full" ear headphones, they are not sound blocking. On a couple of occasions, I have been hearing knocking on my door as well as the phone ringing and someone talking, even though I couldn't understand what was spoken. Both have originated about 20 feet away. 2. the head band has a tendency to slide forward towards the forehead. I haven't figured out why yet and will post when I do. Right now I am testing a couple of theories.

This review comes to you from the ears of a listener well into his 60's. A listener whose ears are in okay shape, not yet being prescribed hearing aids on a recent ear doc visit, but have been subject to decades of loud drums and guitars being a boomer very into all that stuff. I am, however, scientific in my approach to sound. I believe that immediate A/B comparison of playbacks is an absolute must when comparing sound A to sound B. With consumer headphones on a human judge, that is not possible. Time is required to take one set of headphones off and put the other on. These are things to take into the grain of salt needed when assessing my review and the others regarding headphone ratings. I will avoid HiFi advertising jargon such as "glassy highs", "complex mids", and even "warmth". Methodology: I did my best to A/B these Odio headphones with a set of Beyerdynamic 770's. Both sets, via headphone y-adapter, were plugged simultaneously into my Denon receiver. The test performed was done a 2nd time with the headphones switched at the y-adaptor to make sure it was not weak on one side - it wasn't. One thing to note is that the wire from the Odio headphones is connected to the right headphone speaker. On the Beyerdynamic, the wire is connect to the left headphone speaker. I was consciences enough the make sure I had the right and left speakers on the proper ear when changing the headphones. The sound source was the drums playing at the beginning of "Rock Candy" on the CD by Montrose - a recording released 1973. The recording allowed me to compare highs and lows - the highs being the high hat cymbal and the lows being produced at the bass drum. I didn't attempt to assess the mids - that would be better done with a spectrum analyzer - of course all this would be better done with a spectrum analyzer. Understand, this was a simple home test with some degree of carefulness. It was not a professionally scientific comparison with volumes held constant, frequency generators, and other measurement equipment. Results: It was clear that these headphones were significantly more sensitive. The volume was clearly louder in the playback on the Odio's than on the Beyerdynamics. Hence, I adjusted the volume at the receiver when listening to the Beyerdynamics. Without a db meter to get the volumes at parity, the result is in inaccuracies to the judgements of other sound components. Acknowledging these limitations, it sounded fairly clear to me that the Odio headphones did not produce lower frequencies as well as the Beyerdynamics. The high frequencies on both sets were the same to my sexagenarian ears. Conclusion: While the low frequencies were not as well reproduced on the Odio's, they weren't bad. For those of us with home recording set-ups, where you have a multitrack recorder and want to record your band and have all players with headphones - at 30 clams each, these are an excellent choice. If you are a DJ, at a low-power radio station - these are an excellent choice. If you like to listen to your music collection and have a modicum of audiophile in your psyche, these Odio's are not your headphones.

I was skeptical. I have a pair of SONYs I have been using for many years now, 300+ dollar cans that I was replacing with this pair. I had to tune my EQ and software a bit (which is normal) and the unit sounds great. Good bass, good mids, good highs. Nothing that will blow you away, just very good. When you factor the price it's a no-brainer IMHO. These are easily competing with more expensive headphones; that is a reality. I gave the unit 5 stars, but I have some comments that may be helpful. The DJ rotating aspect is for me, a flop. I often use only one ear in order to hear everything around me, but I cannot manage to get a comfortable position with the DJ flip earpiece, I just rest the 2nd earpiece on my cheek, unfortunately. I was looking forward to this on purchase and this aspect did not work out. I changed the earcups on purchase for more comfortable wear before even trying the headphones because I wear them for extended periods. I got gel-type foam covers. Even with this lighter touch, I still feel there is a bit too much tension in the headband around the ears, if wearing these for a few hours. They are a tad too tight. They are comfortable, but there are def more comfortable cans on the market if you use earphones all day. Peace.

I haven't updated my headphones in a while and needed to do so for work. WFH having high standards of sound quality are of the utmost importance. These are perfect for that and more. 👌 Very comfortable. The sound quality is amazing. 👏 Love the design. It came with two different cords. one that I can use with my mic, or for producing equipment. The other I can just plug and play with my laptop. Size wise these look huge on me but I don't care. They are so comfortable. Plus, you would think because of the size that they would be heavy but they actually are lightweight. I did some research after settling on these and so glad I did. One more thing, another big plus, they are budget friendly. The seller has these packaged so nice. Everything is of high quality. Shipping was fast 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️ Couldn't be happier. Well I want to start off with how I was wary of my purchase on these budget studio headphones. They looked great in the photos, and the box was rather thin when they arrived. I figured I got something with poor quality drivers, and some cheap cables that attach and detach wearing out. No, I was completely wrong. They are what I would consider a small budget studio producer's go-to when their favorite pair of studio headphones quit working. Yes, the box is a little thin, but the included cables are amazing. The carrying bag is also a nice touch. The drivers I thought would be a little muddy under certain frequencies, but to my surprise they respond very well during music production and have a decent overall listening experience with not just music, but movies and games as well. They're very durable and have a little bit of weight to them, but they're very comfortable and easy to use. The swivel feature is always a nice touch for a studio headset. I'm definitely impressed with the overall quality and experience I receive using them day to day. They're definitely worth trying out for anyone on a tight budget!

These headphones sound very good and are very comfortable, however the design of the hinge above the ears is weak. This is my second pair that has broken just above the ear area at the hinge. This last pair I purchased in February of 2026, so they lasted about 6 months. I'm on my laptop every day and use these daily, so if you only need something for occasional use, perhaps they would last longer. I would recommend spending a little more money on higher end headphones for frequent use.

In our house we have a home theater but we also have a much smaller upstairs den in which we can also watch movies and listen to music. When my wife is doing something else or just doesn't want to watch the movie I have chosen, I often watch it in this upstairs den. It features a nice home theater receiver along with an inexpensive yet very good projector which sends an approximately 65" image onto a blank wall. However, when I watch upstairs, I do not want to annoy my wife (she may be talking to someone on the telephone or engaging in her beading hobby in the next room) so I generally use headphones to listen to the movie. I had a nice set of 'phones but the earpads were "going" and, while they could probably have been replaced, I find replacing earpads to be quite difficult. So, as I needed headphones only for movies, I looked for an inexpensive pair. They looked pretty good and they had gotten generally good reviews so I ordered one. The night I received them I tried them with a movie (ZULU [1964], a movie I like very much). I was so impressed with the sound quality (it was MUCH better than the sound quality produced by my previous headphones) that I decided to try it with music, just to see how good it is. I played Berlioz's SYMPHONIE FANTASTIQUE (included on RCA Red Seal Living Stereo SACD 82876-67899-2); in this upstairs den I do not have an SACD player so I played only the CD layer of this disc. I found it hard to believe what i was hearing. The sound was positively amazing. Over the years I have heard (auditioned) some quite expensive headphones from Focal, Grado, Sennheiser, and a few others but if my "aural memory" serves me fairly well, I think I can confidently state that NONE of those expensive headphones would produce sound quality much, if any, better than what I hear from these headphones. The headphones come complete with two connecting cords and two inputs to connect them. You can see them and how they can be connected on Amazon's Product Page. I have never seen nor have I ever owned a pair of headphones which came with this extensive range of connections. They even come with a nice carrying bag. Amazon's price is absolutely amazing: currently $27.19 (I paid more but regardless - they're worth it!). Try a pair for yourself. If you don't like them, you can return them. But I'll bet that you'll NEVER return them. I'll also bet that you will be just as amazed with these headphones as I am. Obviously VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. really good headphone for the price. you can't expect any better audio than this. i have used many headphones from JBL, sennheiser, audio technica etc. this one is very close to audio technica Ath-m30x, as good as JBL Tune headphones. bass - 10/10 clarity - 9/10 mids - 9/10 highs - 9/10 clamping force is just fine. not too lose or tight. headband length could have been longer. edit : after 2 days of usage. the bass is really high (it's enjoyable, won't give you a headache or anything) the ear cups look big, they are big, but the holes for your ear to go inside is a bit small. so the bottom part of your ear will be under the clamping pressure. so it might give you ear pain.
