I bought this coiled lanyard to secure my fishing tools and accessories. I was looking for a sturdy and flexible lanyard that would prevent me from losing or dropping my items. This lanyard met my needs and more. It is made of stainless steel wire that is coated with PVC. It has a carabiner clip on one end and a ring on the other end. It can stretch up to 59 inches and retract back to its original shape. The lanyard is great for attaching your fishing pliers, scissors, net, knife, or any other tool that you need. It is easy to clip and unclip, and it does not get tangled or twisted. It also does not interfere with your fishing movements or snag on anything. It keeps your tools handy and secure. The only downside is that the carabiner clip can be a bit small for some items. It may not fit some larger or thicker handles or loops. I recommend checking the size of your items before buying the lanyard. Overall, I’m very pleased with this coiled lanyard and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys fishing.

My golf pushcart has a convenient magnet for sticking my range finder on, but I anticipate that rolling over severe bumps could jar the range finder loose. This lanyard is plenty strong for this application and is just the right size (when stretched by the weight of my range finder). If you have a good spot to attach the lanyard to your cart, this solution should work for you. I had to provide the split ring shown in picture #2. And I used a carabiner from a second lanyard to make removing the range finder (for storage) easier.

I used this for my phone. I bought this to not lose my phone or forget somewhere. I went through some incidents but was able to retrieve my phone. Especially at work I put my phone on my side leg pocket and it's always with me. It's long enough so I can use my phone while it's clipped to my work pants. If you dont have a holster for your phone this is perfect. You can walk with your phone in your hand or put it in your back pocket. You won't lose it or forget it and it will be difficult for a thief to steal it with you attached to it. Lol!
