Viking Cleaver Knife Birthday - Kitchen Axe & Sheath Father Gift Men

This Rococo Viking Cleaver Knife is both gorgeous and is up to the task of even the toughest cutting task. I purchased this item as a Father’s Day gift for my son. He smokes meat often, and I thought this would be a great addition to his smoking equipment. The really cool thing about this cleaver is it’s appearance. I was so surprised at the quality of the workmanship. If I saw this cleaver in a retail knife store, I would have expected the price to be triple or more than it was on Amazon. My favorite feature of this cleaver is the gold tone dragon head strategically placed on the handle. I especially like the gold color and how it contrasts with the black and silver blade. The stone shapes on the black part of the blade really complete the appearance of the cleaver. The detail in the walnut handle is also unexpected at this price range. The raised design on the handle is very nice and also provides a good gripping surface. I feel like that extra touch provides an additional level of safety while using the cleaver. The overall design of this cleaver checks all the boxes. Since I didn’t have a hunk of meat laying around the house, I went in search of something to challenge the cleaver’s cutting prowess. I quickly found my victim. A sweet potato that was in the refrigerator. Great I thought, that refrigerated sweet potato was as hard as a rock. The cleaver won the battle swiftly and without hesitation. ( video attached) I couldn’t believe how the cleaver cut smoothly and cleanly, just like butter. The handle was comfortable in my hand. The rocking motion of the curved blade allowed me to cut through the sweet potato like it was butter. The genuine leather sheath that comes with the cleaver is high quality thick leather. The stitching is very nice and there is a snap to secure the knife for storage in the sheath. The cleaver arrived well packaged in an attractive black box that is definitely suitable for gift giving. I can’t wait to give this gift to my son and let him put it to the test on one of his delicious smoked briskets.

Much lighter & smaller than I thought it would be, probably only suitable for chopping vegetables. Very sharp & seems to be of good quality. The sheathe has no loop to hang on a belt & is loose enough that the top of the blade pokes out- think its worth way too much overall - probably best as a wall hanger. Looks great, but for the money you can get a much better knife.

The coolest knife in your kitchen. I bought this knife for my adult son who is trying to cook more. It was a great price and I wasn’t expecting much but it’s actually a really great knife. It chops things really well especially proteins such as steak, chicken and fish, and you can cut herbs and veggies with it super sharp so you have to be careful but the details on it are very nice and it comes with a nice leather case. 10 out of 10 I will be giving this as a gift an odd gift from here on out

This was given to my husband for his birthday and he absolutely loved it. The description looked exactly like the item when I ordered it. It’s perfect. It’s beautiful. It cuts good. It is a great conversation piece. Thank you very much and well well worth it.
