NikeVapor Jet 6.0 Football Gloves

In dry conditions these feel and work well. When wet, they are a disaster. Took them to the Turkey bowl this year where it was 40 degrees with wet grass, but not raining. There were five or six different balls around and all but one of them (I think a leather one) were unbelievably slippery. I wish I was exaggerating but the footballs slipped through my hands like icicles, like they were frictionless. Way worse than with bare hands. I tossed the gloves on the sideline and played without. So disappointed. If you’re playing only in dry conditions then these are great, but if there is moisture and you’re using common non-pro balls then they are worse than nothing.

Gloves are nice and have some padding on the thumb for a little something extra, but I bought large size and they fit like a medium. I couldn’t even get the gloves halfway on my hands. Mind you I have another pair of vapor gloves and they fit perfectly. If only the size was the actual size I could rate these higher. I ended up giving them to my friend who is a foot shorter and 70lbs lighter.

Be warned! These run at LEAST a size too small unless you have really skinny hands with long, bony fingers. I bought these for my 8th grade son’s football season and disregarded reviews warning they ran small. Now, he has to start practice tomorrow without his receiver’s gloves. Buy a size larger. Don’t make the mistake I made!!!

My teen uses these every football game, he loves them! Nice fit, good grip. His hands are small and these actually fit!

The fit is good the gloves are great I’ve tried a lot of different gloves and I mean a lot! and these seem to be the best tried so far👍

I'm a six-foot man with perhaps slightly bigger than average hands but they're not that big. I had Battle gloves and bought a size up for them (XL) and they fit well but kinda loose. I bought XL NIke Vapor Jet 6.0 gloves and when they came I couldn't believe how tight they were. I thought of returning them.But... I used them in a game and they have outstanding grip (on a dry ball; I don't think any plasticky glove I've tried is good for wet balls; go without gloves in rain). Once I'm playing I don't notice the tightness.They seem well built and sturdier than my other brands. If you don't mind some tightness in the lower palm area, these are the best gloves I've tried. Definitely buy one size up from what you think you are. I don't have "extra large" hands but XL gloves are still tight (but long enough in the fingers so going to XXL large would have too long fingers for me; I've tried XXL in a store and that was the case).
